Fun evening, great food

We dined here recently during the Brimfield Market week with friends. We had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return. The place is iconic and even though it is huge, the noise levels were acceptable. The menu is interesting and varied - something for everybody. We spent a few... read more

Charming place, lots of seating, great for large groups. The menu is extensive, everyone will find something, I'm a vegetarian and I always enjoy my meal, they are very accommodating if you have a special diet. Wait staff is always friendly, attentive and helpful. I have gone many times, with family and groups of friends.

My parents and I had dinner here. It isn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays except for exceptions. We learned that the hard way. Luckily, I don't live very far at all. When we went another night, we all had tasty meals. They serve a variety of foods; fish (fried and broiled), chicken dinners, pasta meals, prime rib, plus specials etc.)... More

They're beef is amazing. Always get the steak when I go. The ribs are some of the best. Always a good atmosphere. The old train building is really cool too

A wonderful Restuarant in an area somewhat bereft of nice restaurants! If you are a railroad enthusiast this wonderfully rehabilitated train station is a real treat to visit. It is a delight to just look at the beautifully and authentically restored interior & exterior...and enjoy the trains as they pass by! My husband & I have eaten here many times,... More

We had another wonderful meal. The location, staff and food couldn't have been better. It was one of the Prime Rib nights and it was cooked to perfection. We also had two trains pass the station. A fun, delicious meal well worth the stop.

It's always great fun eating here. I've been wanting to try the breakfast brunch I think. I've heard great things about the yummy food! Kids and kids at heart will love the trains!

Whenever I'm in the town of Palmer with a group of friends, our best and only choice is the Steaming Tender! I always like trying something different there - ended up getting a juicy burger - the trainmaster particularly with sautéed peppers, mushrooms, and onions... So delicious. I substituted the side and got sweet potato fries with homemade honey mustard... More

This restaurant is located in a train station in Palmer Ma. Home of the seven railroads. The food is wonderful, sandwich to steak all items are at a high standard. They have a full bar, and the service is excellent. Now the added attraction, this is an historic station, built in the 1850's it is an architectural triumph. Trains run... More

The Steaming tender is a great restaurant! There were 8 of us that went on Friday night. We started with Bacon Wrapped Scallops and an appetizer Sampler. My husband and I each had to try the award winning Seafood Chowder which was to die for!!! For dinner my husband had the Prime Rib, I ordered the Seafood Newburg and my... More
