The Lobster Claw is very cozy inside and the atmosphere is good. We did dine here at the beginning of the season, so they may take a while to gear up. The service was very friendly, but the food was just ok. Neither of us finished our meal and the table next to us sent their food back.

We were returning from the Wellfleet Oyster Festival, which was wonderful, and stopped for a lobster roll. This is an old standard seafood restaurant which has been owned by the same family for over 3 decades. The staff has been together for many years and it shows. We enjoyed fried clams, lobster rolls and cold beer. The lobster rolls were... More

My husband and I arrived to Cape Cod late on a rainy Friday night and we wanted to try The Lobster Claw based on TripAdvisor reviews. Wow, we loved it. We were seated right away and quickly ordered a fisherman seafood platter which was a full lobster, steamers and fries. We enjoyed Cape Cod Blonde beer with our meal and... More

I reached out to the Lobster Claw four months ago to plan a dinner for my sister 60th birthday. I live in CA and was making these plans over the phone. From the first phone call to Don the owner to the last hug from Don as we walked out after dinner was a lovely experience for my family of... More

Our overnight get-aways to the Cape would not be complete without at least one meal, if not two at the Lobster Claw. Decor is casual seaside theme. Service is impeccable - fast, congenial, and timely. Selections are varied from lobster salad sandwiches to full boiled lobster dinners. I personally enjoy the Lobster Newburg on toast points with a huge baked... More

We visited this place on Oct 17th, just two days before they shut down for the winter. We got a warm welcome, and shown to our table, then chose our food from the broad menu. Crackers were supplied while we chose, along with our lovely cold beers. My wife isn't big on seafood so she had the chicken tenders, whilst... More

We stopped here at 7:15 on a Friday night after arriving on the Cape from a four and a half hour drive. I love the decor; you know you are near the ocean. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The food was fast and good. I had the stuffed shrimp and my mother had the stuffed sole. Lots of menu... More

I stopped in to the Lobster Claw a few days ago with mother. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who is a great man. When we sat down, the service was wonderful and the food looked delicious. I've been to the Lobster Claw a few times now and I am never dissapointed. It has a great... More

We stopped in for a late lunch-early dinner. The restaurant had a few customers, and looked pretty good. The fish and chips was OK - but overly endowed with fries. Fortunately the fish was good - although heavily breaded. I tried something called Fried Lobster - tasted pretty good - but it was the toughest lobster I have ever eaten!... More
