Melt in your mouth fresh fish and chips

Lovely fresh fish, melts in the mouth. The batter was a little under-cooked for my liking - but still really nice.I liked that you could order a larger portion of fish. You can eat in out of the pack - we chose take out. There is plenty of free tartare sauce, salt and pepper, ketchup, and malted... read more

In short, the location is convenient, the staff is friendly, the place is minuscule (plan on Taking Out) but the seafood is fresh. They specialize in fried food but you can order some broiled items. The prices aren't cheap but the batter isn't heavy so with the freshness of the seafood, this is a good place to stop. You can... More

Very well prepared fried scallops and clam chowder - perfect for take out to a Cape Cod League Baseball game. There are are tables to eat in, but you'll be happier if you eat their food somewhere else.

Sir Crickets is good for fried seafood takeout. The scallop basket is great. Fish and Chips were good. Cape Cod is a place people come for excellent seafood and sir crickets could be better. If you are looking for a place to dine for dinner this is not it as there isnt hardly a place to sit but take out... More

This is like an old-fashioned British fish & chip shop, like I used to go to as a kid in England. It seems to have changed hands since last year though, and the fish - which is usually excellent - seemed a little "different" on my most recent visit - since I got take-out, I didn't get a chance to... We were looking for a quick lunch and stopped in on the recommendation of my cousin. The place is very small and has only a few seats. Service was very quick and the staff pleasant. We had fish and chips for lunch. They were good, but the coating on the fish was a little tougher than I would have liked.... More

We ate at this place due to reviews on Trip Advisor. The place has 6 tables inside so most people order food to go. The seafood was very fresh - in fact their fish market is next door. One of the best fish and chips I had on Cape Cod. If in the area I would recommend it.

Have been to Cookes many times and this was soooo much better. Better batter and far better prices. Small inside but a picnic table or two outside. Also, a great place for food to go if you are close by. Clam and fish chowder is awesome, and the fishermans platter easily feeds two average people. Highly recommend over Cookes which... More

I found the fish over cooked and full of grease .. the fries were rubbery and greasy also .. the person at the counter seemed to be miffed at how long I took to order but I figured she was having a bad day and I heard great things about this place .. buzzz wrong won't be going back ..
