Simple and Good

Went on a recent afternoon and ordered clams and a hamburger and onion rings. All were very good and a decent price. Free water with lemon is a bonus. Small but clean and a simple menu to choose from. Specials each day and the lobster roll special was what most were ordering when we went.

I generally like my lobster rolls with bigger chunks than they way they serve them here, but it was incredible, regardless. (I also like mine hot and buttered but good luck finding that on the Cape!) Fish and chips was also excellent - lightly battered, crispy and served with the right fries/chips. Get there at an off time if you... More

Love the large fish and chips! Also the tuna roll, delicious, generously filled hotdog roll with fresh white tuna. The fish in the fish and chips is never sole or flounder, which is gross and has a lot of bones which can be scary. It's always cod or sometimes haddock, very good and fresh, and again generous portions! Also, great... More

Minimal seating with terrific food. Great fried fish, clams, shrimp, lobster roll, French fries and cole slaw! Take to go if there is no seating available...worth it!

The best fried seafood & they pile it high! So many times with seafood platters I've noticed everything tastes the same. Not here! Fish, shrimp, clams, scallops... it's all great. I'd come back to the Cape just to visit Sir Cricket's.

This was my first Lobster Roll, it was delicious. The place is simple and unassuming with no frills, but delicious food. Enjoy the experience, however do not expect any serious drinks, this is the place to have water or something simple with your food.

If you are going to or from Provincetown, this slight detour to the outskirts of Orleans is more than worth it for a lover of fried food. We shared fried oysters and scallops which were cooked perfectly with practically no oil residue, which attests to a very skilful and careful frier. I shouldn't eat fried food at all, even though... The Cricket has some of the best fried and broiled seafood on the Cape! A local favorite, most folks get their food to go, but the simple decor provides a place to eat inside or outside if you can't wait to eat your meal! The scallops, fried or broiled, are fantastic! While waiting for your order, stop next door at the... More

Thankfully we happened upon this tiny place on a drive to PTown. Light, crispy fried fish with fries and slaw for him. Overstuffed lobster roll with fries and slaw for me. Not a bite leftover! Stop here and you won't be disappointed!
