I love the Land Ho! I'm not a new patron. I've been going since 1973 because it's consistent and fun and never disappointing. Tavern food done right from seafood to roast beef sandwiches, "chowdah", soup, salad, daily specials and great desserts. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, and not just about the spirits. Cocktails, wine, and beer choices galore, it's... More

Loved the atmosphere and the food was very good. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the scallops. He has to eat gluten free and they accommodated his request to make the scallops gluten free by leaving off the bread crumbs. We were there in September for dinner and it wasn't too crowded, we didn't have to... More

Lovely atmosphere and very busy. Food is wholesome while not 5-star gourmet gastro pub. Burgers and fish n chips are the staple along with a few Cape Cod specials. Service is OK considering how busy it is.

Service is excellent. Our server was friendly and willing to make sure that we were satisfied with our selections. I enjoyed the crab cake with red pepper sauce. I like coming back to this restaurant year after year!

My husband and I always make it a point to stop at the bar every time we spend our summer at the Cape. Always crowded and the bartenders are always very attentive.

Immerse yourself into the local scene. High level of casual Cape ambience. Try the chowdah, them pick your favorite sandwich or local seafood.

This is an annual place to visit when on the Cape for our family. It was very hard not to have the fried scallops this time, but wanted to try something else, so tried the fried clam strips. They were great, but back to the scallops next time. Their lobster salad is also very good.

This place is crowded - everyone seems to want to eat here! The atmosphere is fun and funky with signs all over the place, but the food doesn't take a back seat. My sister and I split the lobster salad and the seafood cakes. Both were excellent. A little pricey, but we were on vacation!

Hubby and I have enjoyed our visits here...once we finally caught on to its hours. Eating at the bar is a great option, especially as this place is often crowded...and with good reason! Expansive menu that has just about everything a seafoodie or landlubber could want, and reasonable prices. I have particularly enjoyed their kale soup and stuffed quahog specialties.... More

The food was good but not great. We did have to wait 45 or so mins for a table but figured since many people were there, it must be really good. I don't mind some noise and such but the tables were set much to close to each other to jam in as many people as possible. It was a... More
