Nice atmosphere, consistently good service, good food choices. They have choices of blends of coffees which is a nice touch.

Let me start by saying our waitress was very sweet and good at what she did. The problem was they didn't know how to even keep a wait list. They used little sheets of paper and were very un-organized. The wait was extremely long for a breakfast place. Over an hour!!! And I could see why just watching the kitchen... More

I am so sorry to hear our service did not meet your expectations. The manager did tell me they were extremely busy Saturday and service was not up to our standards. We continuously work with the staff to raise the level of our service. I hope you will give us another chance, I am sure you won't be disappointed. More

Pretty hearty breakfast. Service was a little slow but friendly. Overall, I would go back. Very homey.

We've eaten here 'year round a couple of times a week for 15 years. No more. We thought the menu prices were getting too high for what was on offer. On June 30, 2014 we stopped in for a late lunch.at 2:30 because we were in the area. There were no other customers the front of the restaurant. After we... More

The service was very slow. Nobody came to take our order for over 10 minutes. There was 6 of us and a baby and they brought 4 of the meals out finally and we waited at least another 10 minutes for the 3 others meals (which were not great). We were not offered any time of compensation and 3 of us... We typically make a stop here every year for breakfast. It is good, and reasonably priced. I love the Down'Easter which is two fish cakes topped with poached eggs and a cheese sauce. Get it with the baked beans and enjoy!

I have eaten here in years past and it was always fine. This time we had a bad experience. Although it wasn't crowded at all, the server took way too long. We put in our initial orders which included soup for many of us. It was a long time until he came back to let one in our party know... More

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed. I will address these issues with the GM and the staff to help get them back on track. As you stated, you have always enjoyed your meals in the past and I am confident you will again in the future. Best Regards, Lou Massi More

She was very distracted by something. She forgot us for a while, and it seemed the senior crowd that came after us got served their food before we got ours. We didn't order anything unusual, either. I had the beef hash with eggs over easy, my husband had an omelet and my daughter had pancakes. The food was fine once... More

I know, people say that the Hearth'n Kettle restaurants are for the older folks. The decor is a little old fashioned and you see a lot of retired people eating there. Well, those of us who have been around and eaten in hundreds of restaurants recognize good food, efficient service and great value for the dollar. I have never had... More
