Thanks to Jake, and his wonderful staff!!! They made 12/31/14 even more special for us. We got married right in front of the fireplace! It was a surprise to the other guests in the dining room. But the management and staff were excellent as was the food and service! Thank you Jake, Rebecca and the rest of the crew!

Stayed for the weekend in Brewster, Ma., and really enjoyed my breakfast at Hearth 'n Kettle in Orleans, Ma., I had poached eggs with sausage and rye toast. By far it was the best tasting breakfast I have had in a long time. The sausage was not your typical frozen breakfast sausage, the flavor was awesome. The eggs were cooked... More

Decided to go to Hearth and Kettle for a late lunch early supper. It was off season and the middle of the afternoon so it was not crowded. I ordered the salmon which was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent.

Sunday night me and a friend went here for dinner and had what could've been a bad experience was handled with a very apologetic waitress & manager.. We both had fried seafood and our fish seemed to be off, me being a cook myself and no these things happen let our waitress no and she was very sorry, she immediately... More

Great decor, so ends the good points. We went here for a late supper when we first got into Orleans for a short vacation. The meal was very simple in taste which was nothing to write home about. Our follow up breakfast the next morning didn't change our minds on the quality of the meal nor the service which was... More

I love the name, the ambiance (especially the antique hurricane/gas lamps at each table), cleanliness, crowd capacity and wait staff. It is clean, very handicapped friendly and has a huge menu. Because of this, it is usually the place I take my elderly, physically challenged friends to who just want food in their bellies and attention with no thought quality... More

On our annual trip to the Cape, we love to stop at the Hearth 'n Kettle to get a large kettle of their Lobster Chowder! It is delicous and full of chunks of Lobster. This year we also enjoyed their Lobster & Shrimp Scampi and the Lobster Casserole. The Scampi was seasoned well with garlic and was a good value... More

Another reason not to stereotype people or places. My wife and I went here for breakfast. This looked like a typical chains "joint". Upon entering, I discovered a very nice decor, and a varied menu with many good selections. We both ordered steel cut pancakes, and they were very good. Light, fluffy, and tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and... More
