The Yardarm Restaurant is a small place with a big imprint. In the last decades we've prided ourselves on being the go-to meeting spot for locals in Orleans. On any given day, you'll find townsfolk like fisherman, physicians and plumbers all sharing stories over drinks or watching the Patriots. The Yardarm is a place where friends meet and where new friends are made. A big reason for our popularity is our food. We have a variety of dishes in different styles, from steaks to Gumbos but there's no one else quite does fish like we do. In fact, the Yardarm is where the local fisherman go to eat. We even serve forgotten traditional favorites like Cod Cheeks. Then more come in for the friendly service. Everyone from the owners down to the wait staff has made it their utmost priority to serve you well, and you'll definitely notice the smiles on our faces and attention to detail as you slowly realize like you're dining at a friend's place. There's no where else quite like the Yardarm!

I had a very pleasant lunch with two friends. My fried oysters were terrific and both friends enjoyed their fishcakes and fish n chips. Fast friendly staff and an at home feeling made for a delightful afternoon.

Not the usual fried food plates here. From a wonderful stuffed quahog or crock of onion soup appetizer, to a prime rib night and all sorts of sandwiches and broiled and fried entrees, this place is awesome.

After reading and hearing about The Yardarm for years my wife and stopped by for lunch. We sat for 1/2 hour before a waitress came over and gave us menus although the place was virtually empty and there were 2 bartenders. Finally, we got a couple of drinks and ordered. Clam chowder was middle of the road and burgers would... More

This was my first visit to the Yardarm since new ownership has taken over. I was happy to see many of the same faces among the staff and even more importantly, our meals were excellent. We both chose the Cape Scrod for our meals and were delighted. Our entrees were thick, moist and delicious. I had squash and a baked... More

The other best pub in Orleans! Chowder and sandwiches! Try the Rueben. Not as crowded as other places. Cozy and comfortable

Enjoyed a late lunch here while things were winding down before the dinner crowd - waitstaff writing up the nightly specials on white boards, friendly conversations at the bar and all around. Cold beer, delicious fried seafood in generous portions. A no-nonsense restaurant with good food and incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. Sent our compliments to the chef that day... More

Old or venerable? Exotic or traditional? Portion control or massive plates Cheap or inexpensive? If you know what to expect you are going to enjoy this place. It is a popular local hangout and has a dedicated clientele. It is not fancy. If not elbowing the fishermen at the bar you are seated at a wooden table with paper place-mats.... More

What a compliment! I'm happy that you're such a fan of our fare and atmosphere -- we know that's one of the best things about visiting Cape Cod. I'm also happy to see that your party was a fan of the Fisherman's Platter -- we love to give our customers a taste of everything this awesome place has to offer!... More

The Arm is a local spot with a cadre of regulars - often sitting at the bar watching tube and making a ruckus. They took out the pool table some time ago for more tables. Good menu; clam chowdah and stuffed quahog are favorites. Cod Cheeks often not on menu but available is asked. Very crowded spacing for tables.Smokers stand... More

We love being a place for the community -- both locals and newcomers -- to get together and enjoy a few laughs over a good meal. We're so happy you love the clam chowder in particular. Some days are just better with a bowl of clam chowder, right? We'd love to be a top-notch spot in your book, so if... More
