Don't get lost along the way. The road to Joe's can be a little tricky particularly at night. Had dinner here last night with a group of friends (14 in all). We were on our way to a play at the Orleans Academy Playhouse and the staff was very accommodating regarding our need to not miss opening curtain. While we... More

Great choice on the small plates section didn't allow me to go any farther down the menu. The clam chowder came as described with a smooth blend of clams, taters and smoked bacon. Golden beet salad was also spot on. Fish tacos bigger than I expected but the fish so good I didn't mind the quantity. But then my friend... More

Had a meal of 'small plates' during a visit in January, 2015. Tried some soup, fried food, salad, the tuna poke and dessert. Great place for a meal and visit. The server was knowledgeable of the menu, the bus boy was attentive to our needs, and the atmosphere very welcoming. Worth a return visit.

This was our 1st visit to Cape Cod for a short vacation. We decided to go off season just to avoid the crowds and enjoy the Atlantic coast in early fall. We decided to try Joe's based on some local reviews and we very very pleased with both the service and quality of the food. Our server was a pleasant... More

I loved the heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad as an appetizer and then I had the most delicious steak tips as a main course which was the perfect size meal for me. My husband had the grilled swordfish; it was perfectly cooked, a good size and came with these great crispy green beans. The service was attentive and I loved... More

This was a fabulous choice for restaurant week Oct. 2014! The highlights were the kale salad, roasted salmon, duck breast, seared tuna, creme brûlée, and bread pudding. The food was prepared so well with wonderful flavors. We ate too much. It was an excellent value.

Staying at the Ships Knees Inn in East Orleans on a very rainy night and looking for something close, we took a ride up the road to Joe's. WOW!! Starting with the half price wine deal, followed by delicious warm rolls with herbed butter, then delicious chowder and wedge salad....we were impressed! I had the beef tips appetizer with horseradish... More

This was our first visit since the new menu was put in place. We travel annually to Cape Cod and every year for the last many, one of our eat-outs has been at Joe's. We miss the old menu, which felt more like it belonged in a pub-like atmosphere on Cape Cod -- which the restaurant is. The new one... More

We are not just a pub, and have never been just a pub as we have two dining rooms in addition to the bar room. We still have the "pub" fare such as chicken wings, a great burger, delicious fish and chips, and pizzas. Please let us know what you are missing from the old menu. Info@barleyneck.com More

We've been going to Joe's for over fifteen years, and every visit is terrific. The food quality is excellent across a range of selections from creative new menu items to the basics of burgers and casual selections. The quality of food is exceeded only by the friendliness of staff and the graciousness of hospitality shown by owners Joe and Kathi,... More

Stopped in for dinner after a long day in the road. Pleasantly surprised by the large selection and diverse menu. The swordfish was fresh, tender, and the best I've ever had!! Extensive wine list too. Hopping place with live music too!!
