We came here on a Thursday night after work, excited that there was a place still serving food after 10pm. The place was like a frat party with obnoxious music blaring profanity...what ever was playing was literally dropping the "f" bomb every 5 words. We sat ourselves and after about 5 minutes the most miserable looking server I've ever seen... More

The Lost Dog Restaurant and Pub in Orleans is, in my opinion, much better than the Dennis location. That said, the food is OK, not great but a decent meal at a fair price. They also have a separate (dining room) that works well for families, children, or couples who want a quieter meal. The bar area (main dining are)... More

We didn't eat here. We thought we would just head across the street from our hotel for a drink. We were surprised and happy to find there was going to be live entertainment. The band (sorry, I can't remember their name) were great. They were a cover band and played songs from at least 4 decades. There really was something... More

Over several years of coming to the Cape, we've driven right past this place, assuming it was an overpriced tourist trap like so many of the blah fried - seafood along Rte. 6. Lost Dog Pub was much better fare. The pizza was pretty good, and better than any of the pizza joints we've tried over the years. Buffalo wings... More

I have tried to give this place a break and not commented on the bad food and service, but after 3 disappointing visits (what a fool I am), I have to let it rip. The 1st visit was lunch at the bar. The roast beef dip sandwich was edible, but not remarkable, except for all the greasy fries on top.... More

My buddy wanted to come here and said it was good. I thought it was average. Good menu with a few daily specials. We both started with the chowda and it was thick and very good. I went for a good old grilled cheese with tomato and bacon. Nicely melted but way to much butter when it was grilled. Buddy... More

Really wanted to try 2 other places in Orleans for dinner, but both were packed and didn't have any parking left. Drove past Lost Dog and had to think twice about going in. It was almost 6 pm on a Saturday but the place looked almost empty. We were both starving and decided what the heck. Glad we did!! Started... More

This is the perfect restaurant for the casual diner. A charming Pub right off Main St. in Orleans which is kid friendly, reasonably priced and good food. We were three couples and all enjoyed (although one had to send back the Prime Rib to cook more). The pizza was delicious as was the baked onion soup. My husband loved his... More

Our usual places are closed, so we opted to revisit this former Howard Johnson's. Ordered a half rack of ribs. Came out looking really good, with a slathering of BBQ sauce over them. Expected to be able to separate the meat with a fork. No way. Had to use a knife and fork, and finally had to gnaw off what... More
