We just had lunch at the Lost Dog. Our first visit. Lasagna special was excellent and almost enough for 2 people. Cod on rye and chix salad wrap were very good..child's meal also good. Will definitely go back- may try dinner.

After driving around for the better part of any hour we came across the Lost Dog Pub. Like most Pubs we expected a selection of burgers, fries and salads. Instead we discovered a menu featuring several seafood dishes. I decided on the Captains Club and my wife went with a daily fish sandwich special. Both proved to be excellent and... More

Let me start out with the fact that I have eaten here before. My wife and I took our grandchildren here on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately in the dining room, the bar area was extremely busy. Menu is quite large w/specials page and kids items. The food was good with large portions and extremely reasonably priced. The... More

Ate at the bar. Service was great and grilled salmon was perfect. Pleasant mix of patrons. Not overcrowded on a Thursday nite which was nice.

We went twice to the Lost Dog pub during the week of September 8-15, 2014. The first time we had the fish and chips, they were okay nothing to write home about and a little on the expensive side for what we got, the waitress was very nice and accomodating. The second time we popped in for a snack and... More

We were here in the summer and we had lots ok temp help in other restaurants, but the Lost Dog had experienced staff. We had none of the service issues that the other posters mentioned in their reviews and we ate here two times for dinner. It is not loud if you sit in the room that is not shared... More

We ate dinner at the Lost Dog at the suggestion of our motel, but the food was just so-so and it was so loud, we couldn't even talk to one another without yelling. I guess we are too old for this place!! I had beef tips and they were good, but the meal was not that enjoyable due to the... More

Bad waitress. Always forgot stuff. Food not great. Cod was good. Shrimp is frozen. Tastes bad. Pot roast is good. Lobster bisque missing main ingredient...lobster! Only found 3 tiny pieces.

The food and atmosphere were perfect for a casual night out with family. Unfortunately, the night was somewhat spoiled by our waitress with 'attitude'. At the very beginning of the meal we asked for separate bills, as we had three families at the one table. She complied, but her reaction, and attitude from then on, was soured. Other than this,... Been here before and my friends love the fried cod sandwich and we're not disappointed. Fries could use some work and the pickle was limp and tasteless. Good turkey wrap, fair Portuguese kale soup and good stuffed quahog. Go for the pumpkin beer w a vanilla shooter in the fall.
