This restaurant is well worth driving off the beaten path for… The staff is friendly, the atmosphere quaint and the food is plentiful, reasonably priced and delicious!

We recently treated ourselves to dinner here - first timers - and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The staff was amazingly welcoming and thoughtfully directed our food choices to some of the local favorites. I selected the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans and my date chose the pan-seared scallops with mashed and carrots. Before our entrées arrived... More

Great food and a very pleasant dining atmosphere. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A bit out of the way but worth the short drive. Country setting with beautiful surroundings. Offers real maple syrup with breakfast. Old fashioned home-style cooking and reasonable prices. Very much worth checking out.

We went out to the Johnson Farm for breakfast this morning. I had the Texas French Toast with bacon and mom had strawberry pancakes. Both were very good and the prices in line with other places. Both came with real maple syrup. They have just started tapping the trees and will soon be boiling. They have several gift/craft items for... More

Great food, atmosphere and pricing make this a local secret spot. Off the beaten spot run by a local family who has produced maple syrup for as long as we can remember. Relaxed atmosphere in a very country setting. Bring the children and enjoy.

Love this place. Daily specials. Delicious REAL home cooking at a local farm which uses and sells its own products. Space is limited down stairs with a medium size dining upstairs. All decorations are for sale and their homemade cider donuts are the best. We have yet to try each daily special but their beef sells out quickly. The owners... More

Come, sit and relax. Food is good, home cooked with fresh ingredients. Clam chowda is a must. The view forces you to take a minute and relax from the fast pace of life.

So here we are in Orange trying to find this restaurant (we finally asked directions) which is located on Wheeler off E. Main - way out in the woods. We thought, no way! Who would ever find this place? Well, guess what? The locals know about it and they've been keeping it in business for over 100 years! Located in... More
