Tasty Thai at affordable price

We chose Bangkok as we needed a break from all of the seafood and it was a good choice. The service was good and the food delicious. Quaint little restaurant that must do a great take away business. I had a dish (#40 on the menu) that was similar to Drunken noodles....excellent. Good portions... read more

I tried this restaurant at the recommendation of some of the locals. I had their take out pad Thai and was not at all impressed. The food wasn't bad, just barely so-so; certainly nothing I'd go back for. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared quickly enough, which is about all I can say on a positive note.... More

The food was good but not cheap at all compared with most other Asian restaurants! One main course was a spicy seafood soup (a lot pricier compared with other Thai restaurants say in Boston/NYC - they are the only Asian restaurant in Oak Bluffs I think). It was tasty but barely enough for one person. We had to order another... More

We're from Northern California where there's a sizable Thai population and s lot of Thai restaurants. My wife and I have eaten at at least 10 and this restaurant is on a par with the best.

Having OD'd on seafood we opted for here despite some mixed reviews. Arriving around 7:30 on a Saturday night the restaurant was full but we need only wait around five-ten minutes. The decor and state of repair of the venue could do with improvement but food arrived promptly and was delicious. Some people have commented on service being 'overly efficient'... More

In August I took a friend for dinner. Having had take-out many times and eaten there off season and enjoying the food what happened this night was a major disappointment causing me to cross them off my list of local restaurants I frequent. We went in and there were a couple empty tables for four, us being two but were... More

Two of us dined here at an outdoor table on a lovely evening. We found the service friendly and helpful. We started with fresh spring rolls which were tasty, followed by two mains, a chicken mussaman and a seafood dish, with a side order of either white or brown rice. All dishes were attractively presented.

Nothing that we ordered was special or distinctive the was you expect thai food to be. The service was not great either. I was disappointed when they brought me tofu instead of chicken and when I pointed out the error, the server was sure I was mistaken. I have never eaten or ordered tofu in my life! When a totally... First of all, a series of unfortunate events caused my party and I to be no more than 10 minutes late to our reservation. We called the restaurant and politely informed them that we would be running late, and that our full party would not be there. When we arrived, they placed a wet plant infront of the door, and... This is run of the mill Chinese food, greasy and salty. Spring rolls were fried, should be made with rice paper. Tom yum kung was a salt lick and I wound up dumping half of it. Pad Thai again was salty and not crisp. The bean sprouts were wilted and sad. I won't be returning here.
