This appears to be a local sort of place, or would be good for families on a budget. Menu is too large. A no frills kind of place.
Most restaurants in and around Edgartown are fairly posh so to find a Mexican restaurant was welcome for a quick lunch. The food was good, not great but something different than fancy meals and seafood.
I was initially leery at first, but this place totally surprised us. A must-do for anyone on MV that enjoys great service, excellent food, and value. We had dinner on the 25th with Sarah as our server and she did an incredible job. My wife’s mango sharkarita was so tasty. We had the tortilla soup, chile rellenos, and spicy pork... More
We go to one of their two locations every year and are happy with the food and service, and especially the prices. Great value. They finally are offering a normal sized nacho plate. Previously the order of nachos would server a table of 6 no problem.......... They trend to under state how spicy some dishes so be sure to ask... More
I would have given excellent for this place for its ambiance and choice but for the fact that we went to lunch here on Labor Day weekend and they told us that they were out of veggies (grilled). We could not understand how they could be out of veggies, there was another couple who were seated beside us who left... More
Hi and thanks for joining us! Sorry about the veggies, did some research and we did in fact run out due to the very high volume we experience during the holiday weekend. Once our delivery of fresh Zucchini, Summer Squash and Portabello Mushrooms arrived we processed them as quickly as possibly, marinated and grilled...we were out for about 2 hours... More
Our nacho supreme was great! It is huge! My husband got the skirt steak and said it was decent. I got the veggie burrito I would probably pass on it next time.
A good bite, and a fun atmosphere. Plan ahead. It's small and fills up quick. The sangria is very good.
Though staying in Edgartown, we were visiting Oak Bluffs when we decided to try out the famous Sharky's. The small space didn't bother me, and the manager was quickly accommodating with seating. Seating near the front was nice for people-watching--after all, President Obama and the First Family were actually on the Oak Bluff streets at the time. The free pint... More
Hi there and thanks for joining us...spoke with the manager and server- no intention to be rude, the server was just concerned that you did not want cheese in the $18.99 lobster quesadilla, which is a very important ingredient for the overall flavor and texture of the dish, so she wanted to be absolutely sure she had your order correct.... When we didn't want to wait an hour to get into a restaurant, we popped in to Sharky's. We knew nothing about the place, and was really pleased. we'll definitely go back again next time we're in MV.
