Our waitress was the slowest, most forgetful wait staff we've encountered in years. To be fair, the restaurant was packed and she was assisted by only one other person. However, it got tiresome having to ask repeatedly for water, ketchup, etc. Our advice is: if you walk in and see only two people waiting on tables, leave quickly (if you... More

Slice of Life is our first restaurant choice in OB. The fried green tomato BLTs are a favorite. The menu selection is varied with good range. The food's prepared fresh and has always been delicious. The service is helpful and friendly. My only complaint is things can get crowded. Ask for porch seating to avoid server and customer traffic inside.... More

This is nice little restaurant with very good food - including a breakfast that has a number of delicious twists on traditional breakfast fare. I would give the restaurant five stars but am rating it at four due to the service which could be uneven. In general the service was good, but one morning I came in, ordered my breakfast... More

We had breakfast here this past week, good food and a good atmosphere. They do not open till 8 a.m. though, so if you are an early riser you will have to go elsewhere. The food was fresh and hot and they have some different breakfast things on the menu, a little twist on regular b-fast food. A bit pricey... More

First impression - clean, clean, clean. Freshly painted, crisp, uncluttered dining room and porch. Delicious breakfast - a scramble for my sister, and circuit avenue breakfast for myself. Attentive, friendly service. Desserts looked great, but it was too early for us. Definitely catch a meal here!

This places blows Linda Jean's out of the water as far as the originality of its menu and the ingredients used. Think of it as the foodie breakfast place in Oak Bluffs with Linda Jean's being a very standard diner. I ordered an egg sandwich and a short stack of pancakes and my friend had the omelet all good. My... More

We ate here on a Saturday morning around 9:30am. It was early May and there weren't many customers in the restaurant. Our server was nice and the food came out quickly. We all had eggs with the scallion garlic potato pancake (seemed like a weird combo, but wasn't too garlicky like I'd feared) and toast. It was good - we... More

We went to Slice of Life for dessert after a recommendation by an assistant pastry chef...great choice! The place is small but cozy, very clean and bright. The service was excellent, very happy and friendly waitstaff. They did not rush anyone, and gave great advice as you were making decisions among their excellent desserts. To top it off, their prices... More

Pizza, salads, burgers....All kicked up with a gourmet twist. My two favorites are the "Slice Salad" which has mixed greens, chicken, bacon, blue cheese, candied walnuts, craisins, tomatoes and the creamiest balsamic dressing in the world. My favorite sandwich is the green tomato BLT with a basil mayo and arugula.....Can't be beat. The coffee, cafe mochas and the huge choice... More
