Great for the basics: roast chicken, pizza, calamari. Specialty beers are fun; amber ale has become a standard. Welcoming for families with children, on a island where restaurants often are not. A fine sendoff for those leaving on a Oak Bluffs ferry.

Great beer and I don't usually drink beer. Tried a different one each time, but liked the dark ones. Self serve peanuts in their shell are a nice touch. Good food and atmosphere. Live music if you're lucky.

We went here on a Sat night, so it was crowded and busy. There's no good place to wait for a table; there's not much seating at the bar and no room for standing around the bar. It was raining so standing outside wasn't pleasant. We were lucky to get seated pretty quickly. The beers were decent, nothing outstanding but... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and they had a much larger selection on the menu than we expected. Everyone in our group found something to suit them. The lobster roll was gigantic and fresh. The chicken fried chicken was also gigantic and delicious. The meal, beer, service and the setting were all excellent. We have been coming to... More

We really enjoyed our lunch while visiting Martha's Vineyard. My husband stated the beers he had were a good beer with good flavor. We had sandwiches with pub chips. The pulled pork sandwiches were good and we enjoyed their chips. I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.

A welcoming pub with lovely attentive staff. Our order was taken and the drinks arrived with a dish of shell on peanuts to nibble on while we waited. I didn't try the ales as it was a little early in the day but the coffee was good. I can recommend the Clam Chowder - perfectly made. My husband had a... More

It is great to now be able to go all over this country high, low, or island and not be faced the soul sucking choice of bud versus miller. Death to the tyrants!!!! Hey and that was some good beer and grub. Not to mention open all year, a special group of men and women, I am guessing.

Show up in your jeans and enjoy the shelled peanuts and home made chips with your meal! Oh... did I mention it is a brew house with great beer? Sample a few, they are all great.

If your are on Martha's Vineyard and want a nice pub atmosphere that is not touristy, this would be it. There is a bit of a wait for a table during busy times, but they text you when your table is ready, so you can wonder a bit if desired. Food and service were good. They also have take-out if...
