Best Beer on the Island

Offshore Ale is a great place to go if you're a beer connoisseur, and if you appreciate good pub style food. Very cool atmosphere inside and one of the last places I'm aware of that give you baskets of peanuts with the shells on. The beers they brew range in alcohol per volume levels, which are... read more

Intending to catch the Monday evening two for one dinner, schedules put us there too early for dinner. It ended up as $50 for myself and daughter. They were sold out of fish for sandwich. Leaving me to choose an expensive burger I didn't like. As I don't really drink beer or wine. The outing was nothing special and I... More

It was great to find the Offshore Ale Co. open on a cold day last week so we could enjoy some brew and warmth! Thanks for welcoming us!

Went to Offshore for lunch on Saturday with family and friends. We have always found the food to be predictable and good. This visit was no different. My issue was the cleanliness of the place this time. The menus were filthy, the tables were sticky, and the bathrooms were not up to snuff. The place just seems tired and in... More

We stop in for lunch almost every time we visit MV. They stuff their lobster rolls full and I love the Mac and Cheese with lobster and the wood fire pizza. Fun to sit cracking peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor. Really like the the Amber ale and the IPA

Nice causal place with good pub food. The beer was OK. Being from Vermont we are sorta spoiled with great micro brewery's. We had dinner 1 night and lunch on another day. The vegetarian burger was very good and the fries are excellent. The portions were ample not too much not too little. We loved the Winter salad with mixed... More

Great for a beer lover. The food is great, reasonably priced from pizza to meatloaf dinners. Only wine. Not a full bar so martinis aren't possible. Wait long at mealtimes. The atmosphere is casual and attractive.

Staff was fun and friendly. Good variety on the menu including locally caught seafood. We ate dinner there both nights we were on Martha's Vineyard

Had lunch at this very busy eatery. Food was good and waitstaff good. We did have a wait, but it was lunch time. They have many flavors of beer you could purchase bottled.
