I had the fish & chips which was enough for 2 people. My husband had the meatloaf. It was good but not anything special. The restaurant was quite busy but also very small. Nice place for a beer...food just OK.

As a former homebrewer, my wife likes to take me to places that brew their own. We went here after visiting Island Alpaca and helping to feed the alpacas. Though there was a lot on the menu, I decided I wanted something light. I ordered the beer battered fish sandwich. It was pretty decent and a lot of fries. I... More

Great food and atmosphere. The beer was wonderful. My selection was decided on the servers recommendation. I had shrimp with hand cut fries and truffle oil, excellent. The server was the best and made the dining experience better.

We've been enjoying Offshore Ale Co. since 2004 and it's a highlight of our trip - homey, comfort food, good beer selection, GIGANTIC lobster rolls (we got THREE meals out of ours). The interior of the building is pretty cool, too.

The beer was very good. The local oysters terrific, but priced 2x what we pay for the same Katamas in our hometown 800 miles away. Everything else was okay, certainly not bad, but also not extraordinary. Very casual atmosphere appropriate to the beachiness of the locale. Very enthusiastic server who was attentive. Net/net, it was a pleasant place if your... More

Lovely ambience - a wonderful smell of brewing beer, a very pleasant table on the patio. And the beer was just fine - good variety, interesting blends, especially the IPAs. But the food left a bit to be desired. Our waitperson neglected to tell us about the specials (we overheard another staff member describing them to the next table). We... More

My girlfriend and I went here after a day of walking around Oak Bluffs. We got right in and waited on promptly. Being vegetarians can sometimes be hard while traveling, however, this place far exceeded our expectations. I got a veggie quesadilla which was huge and was cooked in their brick oven and my girlfriend got a veggie burger with... More

I enjoyed this place a lot. Great craft beer that they brew right there, and very good food as well!

Family friendly, but quite a beer selection for the adults! Food was delicious, and not just the same-old-same-old pub menu. A real treat! Call ahead, it's quite popular!

Offshore Ale is a great year-round all purpose restaurant. Great Pub atmosphere (with many in house brews) while being very family friendly. Their Portuguese Fisherman's Stew is superb and their pizza is excellent but my all time favorite is the best fried shrimp ever. My only regret is that the fried shrimp is only available at lunch.
