Great food, great beer

We happened out here on a cold, sleepy day on the vineyard and couldn't have been more pleased. Our food was delicious, potions were generous, beer was tasty, the fire was going, and we had a lovely time.

We are semi-regulars, particularly in the winter - so we went to Offshore Ale a week ago - sat at the bar and each had a couple of great Ales, good salad and pizzas. Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive service ( thank you Eric) and a great kitchen. We also like the occasional live music. Note - This is a... More

Food is always consistent. Kids love eating peanuts & throwing shells on the floor. Good microbrew beer. Great choice of local oysters. We always have Offshore Ale on our list of places to eat.

I have never had a bad meal at Offshore Ale. The Salads, Pizza, Ribs and Wings are excellent. Chowder is some of the best on MV and always excellent service. Lots of company, peanuts on the floor, live music and great deserts! Prices are very reasonable and if you go a bit early there is very little wait time.

Not much open in the winter months on the Vineyard. We go here often as it's casual, friendly and has a nice place to have diner. Food has always been good as well as the service. Good menu of apps and easy food. The fish stew was excellent as well as the assortment of beer, some of which is made... More

On an island teeming with over-priced and mediocre restaurants, Offshore Ale Company stands out as a good value for pub grub. The house-made beer I tasted was very good, and our dishes (fried shrimp and fried oysters) were both outstanding. We might have wished for a larger selection of non-fried foods, but these were both so good and served piping... More

Stopped in here on New Year's Day. The Hop Goddess was a wonderfully balanced ale - just "hoppy enough." The oysters were exquisite - had no idea you could get a wild native oyster in winter that tastes like this. Service was great and I loved the space. If this is your grove, it doesn't get any better.

Great for the basics: roast chicken, pizza, calamari. Specialty beers are fun; amber ale has become a standard. Welcoming for families with children, on a island where restaurants often are not. A fine sendoff for those leaving on a Oak Bluffs ferry.
