The restaurant setting had a lot of promise, but really fell short in some areas. It's very rustic, decorated with lots of wooden accents. Unfortunately, some of the timbers looked old and dusty in comparison to others. They weren't dusty per se, they just looked that way. While we arrived shortly after they opened, some of the chairs/tables seemed misaligned,... More

I visited Offshore Ale for dinner with 3 teenage boys. They enjoyed pizza and ribs, which were all very good, but the root beer was the reason we went back again. The boys tried something new on the menu, and liked it again, and got more root beer. They also asked for root beer in a "to-go" cup. The wait... More

I traveled with 3 others, including 2 vegetarians. There were plenty of options for everyone. In fact, we've eaten there on multiple occasions. Food and service are excellent each time.

The bar is a bit sparse (beer and wine only) but the food is fantastic. They don't do anything halfway, and are one of the only places that brew their own beer on the island. I can't wait to do a brewery tour!

I tried the Amity Ale and the East Chop Lighthouse lager, both of which were exceptional and easy-drinking. I really enjoy the inclusion of peanuts, the communal involvement of us all cracking nuts made everyone very relaxed and I think the conversation flowed a lot better as a result. I didn't try the food, but if I go back to... More

I have been here over 25 times and the food and beer do not disappoint. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the waitress was a little out there. She said she was vegan so really could not recommend anything from the menu. She did not really seem to know the beer selection very well which... More

We loved the tour, the beer and the food. This year we sat outside and had some great wings and ribs. I had the the Hop Goddess: hoppy and spicy--a fine mix. This is our second dinner there, and we will definitely go back again next year. We did have a wait for a table, but the hostess was gracious... More

This was a casual restaurant with good beer and pub style food. It was above average food quality and service for the type of restaurant it is. The serving sizes were large and the food was priced only a little more than we would have paid at home for a similar restaurant.

Offshore Ale is always good for awesome beer & food! The menu has so many great things to pick from and there is equally a wonderful selection of beer as well. Great location - right next to Circuit Ave and near the park. Must visit!

We picked up take out from here twice - we were so lazy not only did we not cook, we also couldn't even be bothered to make ourselves presentable to go out. Dinner was really delicious both times - even with takeout. The lobster roll is awesome - fresh, tasty lobster with a light but flavorful dressing on a decent... More
