Off Shore Ale is a Vineyard staple. It stays open year round and provides both good food and beverage.
Great little sports bar with nautical feel (canoes hanging from ceiling alone with bicycles and nets, etc.). Perfectly cooked burger and made-on-premise beer joint in Oak Bluffs. Guitar player in front. Kids, rertirees, gays and straights all there the night we visited. Loved it.
Whenever we are in Martha's Vineyard (which is not as often as we'd like), this is a place where we make a point of going! This pub shows sports games, and thus makes for a great, loud, friendly atmosphere. Provides complementary peanuts, with the full expectation that you will throw the empty shells on the floor. Fairly varied menu, with... More
Offshore Ale is casual restaurant on the Vineyard. You really can't go wrong here unless you have a peanut allergy (peanut shells are all over the ground). The food is great. There are the staple items you would expect buffalo wings, fish n chips but then they add in some menu items that you wouldn't expect a casual restaurant to... More
If you like casual fare, and you don't mind peanuts on the floor, this is the place for you ! We made a reservation as it was New Year's Eve and not many restaurants. were open. My partner ordered the steak on the stick an I had the special of Salmon with rice and broccoli! Salmon was delicious , white... More
Offshore Ale Company Awesome! Food was great, huge portions. One of the best lobster rolls I have ever had – they squeeze a lot of lobster in!! Beer was also great though I’m not a huge beer drinker! Staff is really friendly in a genuine way. Dog friendly. MV is shocking strict when it comes to dogs & restaurants –... More
On an Oak Bluffs back street, this micro-brewery is making some great pub food and some truly delicious pizzas from the wood-fired oven. And the beer is great! And so are the endless supplies of peanuts in the shell. The summer experience can be a terribly crowded and noisy one, but off-season times are wonderfully slow and relaxing. A simply... More
What's not to love? Great local beer, friendly waitstaff, rustic decor, good food. They're consistently pretty busy, so be prepared to wait for a while, if you don't have a reservation.
We went through a tour of the brewery, and the owner himself was giving the tour. A very informative and relaxed tour with plenty of samples to go around!! A great atmosphere, we enjoyed the visit (plus the free pint glass!)
The Offshore Ale restaurant and pub in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard is truly a great find. The food is excellent, their home brewed beers and root beer are awesome. Wood fired pizzas are great. The owners have committed to making this a year round venture and has built a tremendous following amongst the locals. You cannot go wrong in stopping... More
