Sometimes, you just crave a massive Italian meal. Well, here's the place on the Vineyard to do it. Close to downtown Oak Bluffs, it offers delicious and sometimes ridiculously sized portions of food. We had some roasted garlic to spread on our bread to start out, although appetizers are definitely not necessary. I ordered up what can be described as... more

Ate here with 4 others in early September and had a good time. Food was a bit overpriced but the portions are huge so it balances out. Food was good, nothing spectacular. The restaurant itself is very small and it seems like there'd be more room if they took out a table or two. Very nice waitress though service was... more

Went to Jimmy Seas based on a recommendation from a friend. We went in Sept. after the crowds had left the island but still waited (and ignored by waitresses) at the door for about 15 minutes while dinner tables laid empty but in need of being cleared. There was no manager or hostess greeting patrons at the door. Finally got... more

Jimmy Seas does not take reservations and there will almost be a crowd waiting outside, but don't miss it! The portions are quite big.. so share if you can as each pasta dish can serve 2-3 people. The food was very good, reasonably priced, and service was good as well... but the place is TINY especially for a table for... more

The food was excellent. The surroundings tight, but the restuarant is in a convert house, so can you expect. It does give off a nice ambience and the service was excellent. My only complaint was that it does not have a kids menu. Portions was big and being a garlic fan this is the place to eat. Would defnitely eat... more

I was surprised of seeing how many negative reviews there were on Jimmy Seas but after reading a few of them I understood better. Yes some of the reviews are correct about certain aspects. My wife and myself very much liked our experience at Jimmy Seas. This restaurant is all about (good) attitude, character and great food from Jimmy Seas... more

This restaurant gets it almost all wrong. Physically it's a cramped, unpleasantly lit, institutional green, dull plastic table clothed, climatically challenged restaurant. Other criticisms: Creative balancing necessary because the all the serving vessels are way too large for the tables. More than that they are awful ugly pieces. Enamel coated skillets with handles. The tiny plastic water glasses are they... more

Very memorable as the worst meal I had during my 5 days in MV. Interestingly, it was also the most expensive by a wide margin. I ordered (and expected) Linguine Puttanesca, but what I got was a grossly large portion of Linguine with watery tomatoes, bell peppers, and mushrooms... Completely missing were the garlic, anchovies, olive oil, hot peppers, black... more

The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was quaint. The food was plentiful (actually huge)...but average, at best. Over all...just ok. more
