We visit Martha's Vineyard regularly and probably eat at S&B once or twice each summer, in addition to doing take out on another occasion or two. Tastes in BBQ (and cornbread, and beans, and onion rings, and cole slaw) vary, surely, but we have never been unhappy with anything we have ordered, adults or kids. Well, maybe the corn on... More

We visited here May 19th 2011 and had the Wet & Dry Combo. The food was very good and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful scenery, cold staff, waitress added 18% gratuity to bill without warning and added extra drinks and extra sides that we did not order, then refused to give us a receipt. Food was tasteless and at times like raw meat. Chicken wings would not pull apart. Cole Slaw was lousy. I never thought that KFC could be a relief and... More

The rack of ribs were tough, the beans and cole slaw were pretty much tasteless. It was expensive and not worth the $$$. Stay away!

Wait time was great for a late Monday afternoon in mid August. I ordered the wet n' dry ribs. Dry ribs were supposed to be a Memphis style rib, while I can't say I have been to Memphis before, these ribs had no flavor other than what the ribs themselves gave to the plate. The wet ribs were almost as... More

We went to Smoke'n Bones on a busy Friday night. We were warmly greeted by the owner and had about a 10 minute wait. The ribs were great, much better than typical BBQ in New England. I would definitely go there again!

We go to Smokin Bones every time we visit the island....about four times a year. The food is always fresh and who could resist Stewarts onion rings or the fried pickles? The staff is very funny and the atmosphere is light hearted.... People with no sense of humor should get take out! Highly recommend!

the ribs were yummy and so were the fried pickles (weird but good). good beer too. The service was quite good but then again, it wasnt busy that night. The coleslaw needed some extra spices in it, the beans were ok and the cornbread was excellent! Try the wet/dry rib combo.

If you want some of the best BBQ in the New England area, go to Smoke 'N Bones. The Pig Pile Combo is to die for, as well as any of the side items. However, for a number of years the wait-staff has been rude almost to the point of insulting. On our last visit, when delivering the appetizers to... More

The prices for the Vineyard are really good and the food is really great, the Asian ribs are great, to die for. It is a fun casual place to go and it is away from the main part of town so it is easier to park which of course is always a problem on the Vineyard. The staff is very... More
