DISAPPOINTING

I very rarely write reviews. I save them for exceptional cases, positive and negative. My wife and I had a prix-fixe dinner with friends on New Years Eve ($62/person + drinks). Stupendious overpriced, food average. It was August 2014 and i am seeking to recall if a chicken dish was $29 or $39 - OK, probably $29 but still insane. And nothing out of the ordinary, edible. Cod - I felt codded, can this really be $29? The portion was very modest. Obviously, we are a distinct minority in our less... More

Fantastic service - owner called me himself to confirm hours and reservation, staff warm and smart and really enthusiastic about their product - fantastic, fresh and unexpectedly interesting food, - we had onion rings (light and seasoned and crunchy) and garlic-y brussel sprouts with our drinks (great cocktails), then we split the butternut squash gnocchi and each had an entree... What a perfect place. Funky hole-in-the-wall with great food made and served by people who really seem to care. Loved it!

The food was ok but not what i expected after reading some good yelp reviews. But I did get nice little bumper sticker with my extremely high bill.

What an appealing place! Cocktails are inventive and yummy! Everything tasted so fresh and vibrant. Service by Ben was perfect as was the whole experience. We really enjoyed the brussel sprouts - addictive! Also the 'fried' potatoes were scrumptious. Desserts were innovative and delectable. We would certainly return!

Our server was very good and we were thankful that he suggested we order the brusell sprouts....they are incredible. The room is a little small but makes it cozy. If you are a vegetarian, they have a great dish which is a little sampling of many of the items on the menu. My husband had the fried chicken which he... More

OK. First, I'll give Red Cat Kitchen their due. The food was good, artfully done and very creative. That's the good. If you're into foodie culture and love to faun over tiny over priced dishes, then this is the place for you. We drove to the restaurant in the dark in the rain, using our GPS. We couldn't find the... This was our third dinner on MV and by far the best. Terrific food and service. Both had the monkfish and the island fresco soup. Outstanding. Loved the atmosphere. Really cute. Open and attractive kitchen. Definitely a place to go to for a great evening

I always love sitting at the bar here, especially if Kate is bar tending! Great drinks, and nice appetizers. The bar is small, so you always wind up meeting your neighbors- I've made some new friends!
