Very good food and setting, Well stocked bar, Excellent seafood and raw bar. Service is very but not overly attentive. Third time here, taking friends here, do I say more?

The Ferry docked and 20 minutes later all 14 of us were sitting at a nice table at the MV Chowder company! We were promptly seated and waited on by a very friendly and accommodating waitress. We had 6 children with us so it helped that she was so lovely. Do get the lobstah roll! Loaded with meat- deelish. the... More

I had this on my list of places to try while in the Cape. On the day my husband and I ventured to Martha's Vineyard, it was the first place we stopped at for bowls of "chowda." Honestly, based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be the best clam chowder on the entire Cape. It didn't live up... More

My husband and I stopped in to watch FIFA and have a bite to eat. We sat at the bar to watch the game and the bartender was fantastic. LOVED the Citrus Vodka oyster shooter (stopped by the next day just for another one!) The chowder is as good as everyone says - it will not disappoint. It is LOADED... More

We visited the Chowder Company a couple of times during our stay. Great food and excellent service. The bar was comfortable and a great place to catch a World Cup match!

This restaurant was lovely...large, nicely decorated, cool & has a good menu selection. We understand that it's a relatively new place in Oak Bluffs, more upscale than some of the more casual places, perhaps more expensive as well. We had a good lunch of fresh little neck clams, orincini, crab salad, a couple of drinks. Everything was enjoyable though portions... More

We went here because my husband and I each had a $25 gift certificate to use here (or one other restaurant) from the Hy-Line Ferry's spring special. We enjoyed our meal. I got lobster, which took a while to cook b/c their water wasn't ready. The manager came over and apologized and took the lobster to the kitchen and cracked/cut... More

Requiring gluten free fare means it can be difficult to find good restaurants. But Martha's Vineyard Chowder Company has a variety of options, including gluten free chowder. The waitress was well-informed and checked on anything she was unsure about. Close to the Oak Bluffs ferry, so a good last stop to our day on Martha's Vineyard.

I just love New England's Clam Chowder and this is one of the best! Just Delicious, not really creamy as they normally are but the broth is just perfect, lots of clams and potato, you can really taste the ingredietns. The Crabcakes and the oysters are good too!

Sat outside on the patio which faces the bustling street and looks on at the Flying Horses barn. The people watching adds to the fun. Inside is beautifully done and is welcoming - we opted for open air. We ordered their chowder and it is close to the best ever. The broth is smooth and chockfull of clams (look at... More
