It was handy that this place was right next door to our hotel (the Surfside). Nice outdoor tables, lots of good dishes on the menu, understated/sophisticated decor inside. We frequently wound up here at the end of the evening for a dessert cocktail.

went to MV chowder company right off the ferry for lunch....sat outside on their small front porch- our table was not shaded and after a while the sun was a bit too much....food was very good, had a salad, and some clam chowder of course and a lobster roll....the lobster roll was very tasty but a bit pricey....service was very... This was not my first time here but it was certainly the best! We started with the homemade ricotta cheese and a cup of clam chowder. The ricotta for $6 was a real deal and was truly amazing. It was so creamy. I couldn't finish it so we took the rest home. The clam chowder was also great. Not too... More

We all enjoyed our meals, but servings were not very large so restaurant is not as good a value as some other restaurants in town. Service was very good. Food quality was also very good.some of the highlights were the chowder and seafood risotto.

I was at a fundraiser for Featherstone Art Center and with the purchase of a ceramic bowl, a soup dinner is provided. My soup was prepared by the MV Chowder Company, and was a 5/5. I am thankful that MV Chowder Company helped to sponsor this event, and will definitely patronize this establishment in the future. Best chowder ever!!

We've been going to the Vineyard for years but this was the first time we tried this place. Actually, I think it's only a couple of years old. I had a seafood risotto, which was delicious and attractive. Maybe it was that is was served in a very large pasta plate, but the serving was smallish. I wasn't hungry afterwards,... More

Decided to try this restaurant for the chowder and it was good as was the seafood risotto. However, the rest of our meal was below average: crab cakes were doughy, drinks were pricey and poor and the dessert was not edible. Would not go back.

In search of the ultimate lobster roll I came to this not so inconspicuous spot based on a recommendation from a friend. I ordered, I ate, I foodorgasimed! It was unbelievable. It was all Lobster meet and No Mayonnaise. It was warm on a toasted brioche bun. Garnished with a parsley & lemon, sprinkled with real bacon bits, and drizzled... More

Ordered clam chowder and mussels to die for. Princess was responsive server and appreciated recommendation for more ciabatta with serving. Fun watching tourists on sidewalk below. We highly recommend for casual lunch on pretty day!

Hands down this is the BEST LOBSTER ROLL that I have ever had and no place since has compared to it. PERIOD. Martha's Vineyard Chowder has set the standard of all lobster rolls. I keep trying other places to replicate and no one has even matched the quality or size of this lobster roll. Delicious. Plenty of lobster meat ...prepared... More
