Pricey and Great View

We ate here for lunch I ordered steam red lobster that was extremely hard to open with this very small crackers. My other relative ordered the lobster roll. My small lobster was pretty expensive almost 68% of the bill. We only ordered two things but ended up spending around $75. Our waitress was... read more

We ate upstairs on their season's opening day. The lobster salad was decent, the clam chowder was average and the fries w/parm cheese were very good. The service was friendly and timely.

We have been to Martha's Vineyard for the first time and will never forget our 2-week vacation at our friends house in Edgartown. We used to go to Oaks Bluffs almost every day, one of the most lively village in the island. This was our favorite place: view of the harbor with the several yachts with parties going on at... More

I always try to find a positive about places. Unfortunately Lobsterville had nothing that appealed to us. We were seated upstairs. Going up the steps we found the railing to be very dirty. Our first hint. We were seated inside, still has an open feeling. It was not overly crowded. The bartender had a group of locals in watching football... More

The ferries let people off right around the corner from this restaurant. It lends itself to be touristy. That does not make it bad, but you do not get the feel of MV at this location. It is right on the water, but you do not get the open feeling of it. But, the beer is cold and the calamari... More

I have been here a number of times for the location, the view and the people watching. It is a perfect place for drinks. Have had appetizers a time or two and were very pleased with crab cakes and stuffed quahogs. Not where I would go for a full on meal but a very nice place to spend an hour... More

Went for a light dinner and drinks around sunset....and we were not disappointed....they have some outdoor seating (not a lot)....and the menu is good, but a somewhat enhanced bar menu....the salads and burgers were very tasty and drinks really good! Prices also very reasonable- if you get here just prior to sunset and get a nice outdoor table with a... More

The scene at Oak Bluffs Harbor on a busy summer weekend is, well, a scene. It can be a noisy, party place with trendies spilling out of bars and looking for the perfect restaurant table to see and be seen. We just arrived and needed to chill out, wanted some light upscale appetizers and have a water view without having... More

Went for a quick dinner befire ferry ride back. The name captured us, nothing else. Ordered a beer (nice and cold) and cup of clan chowder $8. For dinner we ordered bowl of chowder $10, fried whole bellys $18 and lobster Mac and cheese $18. Soup was the best of the three, but amazingly had little flavor due to little... More

My family and I spent a great week on Martha's Vineyard and eat at many nice resaurants. But I had a first in a lifetime experience. The Lobsterville Bar & Grille in Oak Bluffs charged a "Rounding Adjustment" to my bill. The bill was $97.91 and the rounding fee was $.04 to bring it to $97.95. The waiter was wonderful... More
