Italian Oasis in the heart of Norwood, Mass.

It was a surprise to find such lovely atmosphere, attentive wait staff, and excellent food. We each had a glass of wine. I had minestrone soup which was as good as anything in the North End, my companion had a huge garden salad. She had the special Chicken and I had the Beef Tenderloin. Both were... read more

I went to Olivadi with family from out of town and was extremely disappointed in the dinner we had there. Our reservation was made for 6 people several weeks ago, but we ended up having 8 people join us for dinner. There were 2 extra people and the hostess made it seem as though we brought 10 extra people. She... More

Had dinner as a party of four, and enjoyed the meal in every way. We appreciated the absence of music, since it is hard enough to hear one another in most restaurants. The beer selection included a nice selection of regional and local brews on tap. The wait staff seemed well trained - formal, efficient and friendly; not chatty. The... More

We went with our friends to celebrate their birthdays on Sunday evening. We were seated quickly with our 6:30 reservation. The restaurant was about half full. My wife and I have been to this restaurant may times and regard it as one of our favorites. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink order. Both couples ordered salads. The... More

Went to Olivadi for a birthday celebration. They were quite busy for a Wednesday night and I can understand why: Great food, nice wine list and friendly staff. Marvin was friendly and attentive. I'll be back to Olivadi!

Enjoyed dinner at Olivadi with my daughter. She had the gnocchi and I had a pasta dish with eggplant olives and tomatoes. All very enjoyable. The mark up on the wine was fair. Our server, Myron, was knowledgeable and pleasant.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Service is second-to-none. The servers know their stuff and are attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. This is is the kind of restaurant that will impress someone who judges quality based on the price. There was nothing wrong with my food, but the quality did not quite live up to the hype. Flavor profiles were not quite as... More

My wife and I were looking for a restaurant close to the Norwood theater. Olivadi fit the bill. We made an early reservation for 5:30 and it was a smart thing to do since the place filled up quickly. The hostess was very friendly and made sure we had a quiet corner. The service staff was attentive without being overbearing,... More

This was only my second time here. It was an amazing experience. We sat at the bar for about 2 and half hours, and felt right at home. The best part of the menu is that you can get half order entrees. My wife and I got 2 plates and the amazing wings. The Gnocchi are filled with ricotta and... More
