One of the best restaurants in Norwell

We have been here a dozen times. Prompt service, easy reservations on opentable, consistent food, great Tuna tartar on wontons, lamb sliders, waldorf salad, spicy calamari, etc. Drink specials, and a bottle of wine and two entrees on Winesday for $50 , so good value to boot!

We've been to this location many times, most recently late Monday afternoons for happy hour. Some of the food is really good, and some is just average. What is outstanding about NYAJ's is their customer service. We seldom ever have an issue, but if you have a problem, no matter how small, they will fix it! We usually go to... More

I ate here two nights in a row. The first night it was great and the meatloaf was excellent. The second time the food was also very good but the service was not as good as the first night.

After thinking about trying it for a while I had the opportunity to have an early dinner at Not Your Average Joe's in Norwell, MA. I was extremely happy with the menu items, specials, drink options, atmosphere and service. The food is excellent! I will most definitely dine there again! If you are watching your calories and/or portion sizes the... More

We visit this restaurant on a fairly regular basis. We appreciate the creative flair of a changing menu, often celebrating a particular season and embracing local products. The regular menu features a number of "tried and true" offerings that you can count on... But, the "specials" menu offers the occasional culinary adventures. On this occasion we enjoyed Mozambique Chicken, Garlic... More

The hotel staff recommended this restaurant and boy were they right. Located right down the street from our hotel and located across from a lake you get a pretty picture while you have some great tasting food. Our server was so friendly and helped us make a great selection for dinner and dessert. Great for the whole family.

This is my umpteenth time eating at this establishment as I am a frequent flyer at the Norwell Company Theater nearby. Discounting the fact that this somewhat overshadowed neighborhood restaurant gets usurped by nearby tonier places in this tonier neighborhood, the food & service here are exceptionally consistent and really good! A huge plus is the fact you can make... More

We went with a group of 7 with a reservation. No problem got right in and seated. This for a Saturday night. There was a small wait for some at 5pm but a really big wait when we left around 6. Food is really good and everyone enjoyed it. I got the single serve pizza which was enough for me>... More

This restaurant has a great atmosphere in the bar area with high-tops, booths and at the bar seating. Great and friendly wait staff along with an interesting and varied menu. The Harvest Pork Tenderloin is an explosion of flavors and prepared to perfection. Blend of pork tenderloin, chutney, butternut squash with some chipotle for aded flavor and unbelievable maple infused... More

I love this resturaunt! Just because your gluten free doesnt mean you have to miss out, Each meal begins with a gluten-free version of Joe’s legendary bread and dip, theirs is fantastic! They have just recently added Ommission beer (a gluten removed beer, not a gluten free beer, but tolerated by most) to their menu. My favorite dinner is the... More
