Great "specials"...

We visit this restaurant on a fairly regular basis. We appreciate the creative flair of a changing menu, often celebrating a particular season and embracing local products. The regular menu features a number of "tried and true" offerings that you can count on... But, the "specials" menu offers the occasional culinary adventures. On this occasion we enjoyed Mozambique Chicken, Garlic... More

The hotel staff recommended this restaurant and boy were they right. Located right down the street from our hotel and located across from a lake you get a pretty picture while you have some great tasting food. Our server was so friendly and helped us make a great selection for dinner and dessert. Great for the whole family.

This is my umpteenth time eating at this establishment as I am a frequent flyer at the Norwell Company Theater nearby. Discounting the fact that this somewhat overshadowed neighborhood restaurant gets usurped by nearby tonier places in this tonier neighborhood, the food & service here are exceptionally consistent and really good! A huge plus is the fact you can make... More

We went with a group of 7 with a reservation. No problem got right in and seated. This for a Saturday night. There was a small wait for some at 5pm but a really big wait when we left around 6. Food is really good and everyone enjoyed it. I got the single serve pizza which was enough for me>... More

This restaurant has a great atmosphere in the bar area with high-tops, booths and at the bar seating. Great and friendly wait staff along with an interesting and varied menu. The Harvest Pork Tenderloin is an explosion of flavors and prepared to perfection. Blend of pork tenderloin, chutney, butternut squash with some chipotle for aded flavor and unbelievable maple infused... More

I love this resturaunt! Just because your gluten free doesnt mean you have to miss out, Each meal begins with a gluten-free version of Joe’s legendary bread and dip, theirs is fantastic! They have just recently added Ommission beer (a gluten removed beer, not a gluten free beer, but tolerated by most) to their menu. My favorite dinner is the... More

I mean, who are they trying to fool? This IS average. Well, maybe average isn't the word for it. Mediocre? I'm not sure. It's a casual dining establishment with the typical variety of foods you'd expect to find in such a place and friendly service. What I ate was fine, but forgettable. Which is still much better than being memorably... More

My husband and I came here to watch some Sunday football and they have a nice bar area and quality tv's. The bartender was pleasant, helpful and had a good knowledge of the beers on tap. She was also more than happy to let us sample some of the brews we were unfamiliar with. We just ordered appetizers which were... More

A bit of history first, We went to the Not Your Average Joes in Burlington a few years ago, for lunch, and loved it. Were very happy to find one opening up close to home in Norwell and visited it shortly after it opened.. That visit did not go well, mainly due to slow service & being ignored for most... More
