We love, love this place. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the restaurant is way too small for the volume they have. The tables are too close to each other and you can't really have a private conversation. The sushi is out of this world. Been to Hawaii and couldn't find sushi that good... More

Personally been 3 or 4 times. Excellent chef, who occasionally will swing by and say hi. Cannot find fault with the special drinks, appetizers, main courses or sushi - try the Belichick- or even desert (fried ice cream done right). Best, most attentive waitress last night who made everything right for the almost 4 yr old grandson. The downsides: small... More

We went for date night and had the most excellent, fresh, beautiful sushi. We started with the lobster rangoons which were warm and heavenly and rolled right in to 5 different maki. I think my favorite was the red sox, while my husband loved the volcano roll. Service was excellent. My only criticism would be how cramped it is. You... More

There's a reason we choose this restaurant for celebrating our birthdays: the sushi is a step better than anywhere else. End of story. Or so we thought. This time the two of us were seated at a small table next to a larger one that was set for a party/special event. We were enjoying the excellent cocktails (we don't usually... More

We have been going to "Anna's" since she opened. Our sons have worked there during high school (one son went onto a culinary career of his own), so we saw how she runs a tight ship inside and out. YZ has catered many memorable occasions ("Anna, sushi for 12, you decide the selection, just no eel or squid, pick up... More

Anna - the chef, is an amazing cook that runs an even more amazing restaurant and she is a prize winning engineer as well. This is VERY popular, so don't try to get in without reservations. It is not inexpensive, but the food is all worth it.

When we arrived promptly at our 7:45 pm reservation on Friday, the restaurant was packed and the entryway was jammed with people. The maitre d' unconvingly said that it would be a 30 minutes wait. We overheard the people nearby saying they had a 7 pm reservation and were still waiting to be seated. The maitre d' then said it's... More

It can be hard to get a table on the weekend..so make a reservation!!! Well worth it. I am not always a fan of sushi but when it is as fresh and creatively prepared as this I can not get enough. The owner makes sauces from scratch. Try a side of her lemon sauce with your sushi.Yama Nachos are a fun... More

Y-Z is my favorite restaurant. Anna is a wonderful hostess. Always order the Napoleon salad. I'm never disappointed.

I've been coming here since they opened. The sushi and sashimi are very fresh and the presentation is a treat for the eyes. The fusion dishes are a wonderful blend of flavors and Anna is always creating new ones. Yama nachos are a great way to start a meal.
