Probably one of the closest restaurants to our house, we are very lucky since Yama lures people in from all over Central Mass. Wonderful sushi, excellent fusion meals and the most heavenly Unagi I have ever had. They also have a full bar, do a busy takeout service among us locals, and yet are a very hip and trendy place... We are regulars at this hidden gem in Northborough MA. Hidden away in a strip mall, this sushi restaurant is the best we've ever eaten. Interesting rolls with names like "The Brady" "The Bellercheck" "Lobster Bomb" and "The Red Sox" are some of the favorites. Run don't walk to this place. Call ahead for reservations any night of the week... More

My wife and I love having lunch at this restaurant. This place is right in our home town. We are so lucky to have a place to eat that is always so consistently good. I love the sushi/sashimi bento box and my wife loves the teriyaki salmon. Pan fried gyoza and edamame are great appetizers. The place is clean and... More

I had heard about Yama Zakura and we stopped in to get a bite before getting our daughter. What a wonderful place. Busy, Friendly, and the food was outstanding. We love Sushi and Yama delivered. A bit slow on some of the items coming, but nothing too worry about. It was packed! Obviously for good reason. Can't wait to go... More

This the best Asian cuisine I have experienced anywhere. We have been loyal customers of this restaurant since the early days when the owner Anna spent much of her time behind the sushi bar. This is a don't miss for anyone who enjoys sushi.

This past Saturday evening we went out for dinner with friends to try something different from our normal routine of Italian or Indian food... I am somewhat of a newbie to sushi, Yama Zakura was new for my husband and me and our two friends. This gem is in a strip mall and is very unassuming. The inside is wonderfully... More

My husband and I try to get a date night here every few months. The food is always perfect, very flavorful and presented beautifully. They also have great specialty drinks. The owner always checks in and the atmosphere is fun. We'd go more often but it's on the pricey side. You get what you pay for!

We have been coming to Yama Zakura since Anna opened years ago when the place was a third of the size it is now and people were just starting to appreciate good sushi in the area. Through the years she has proven that being consistently fabulous makes word spread better than any other kind of advertising can. We ordered a... More

Incredible Sushi - try the Lobster Bomb!! When they found out is was our 1st time they gave us their Chocolate Souffle on the house - without even having to order it. It tales 30 minutes to make - so they planned this extra treat for us. Other posts knock the tables being too close , too noisy etc. Get... More
