Recently had two very good experiences at Special Teas. First was a lunch on a weekday. It was busy but we were greeted and seated quickly. Both lunch items were very good: fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. This is not a chintzy English style tearoom but American country casual – the tables are wooden and without... More

I have been to Special Teas many times and love the atmosphere, selection of teas and delicious homemade food. Don't miss out on the scones! Today I took my 8 year old daughter for "Afternoon Tea" and it was such a great experience. The tea sandwiches and mini desserts were fantastic as were the scones and tea. Arrive early and... More

Why did I wait so long to try Special Tea's. My mother and I had a wonderful lunch in May. It was busy so service was a bit slow but not too bad. I loved the chai tea pot and stand with heater to keep it warm. Nice touch. Simple menu but delicious and all homemade. Desserts were phenomenal and... More

By far the best food and the nicest service we've ever had! Had 30 people for my daughter's graduation, the food is outstanding, tomato pie is to DIE for, scones right from heaven and the DESSERTS!! I'm going to be craving the coconut tea bar for months now! Seriously, if you have a party coming up, look no further. The... More

Quaint tea house that feels so "homey". The food is the freshest ever. I have tried everything and never once have been disappointed. Choices of tea are excellent. And the desserts - fantastic!!

I have been eating lunch here for years and have never had a disappointing meal. Give yourself plenty of time as this is not a fast food place. This is where you go when you want to spend some quality time over lunch with friends or family. The tea selection is good and brewed correctly, the entrees excellent and the... More
