This tavern is attached to the Hotel Northampton and is very charming, being moved here piece by piece from another venue. Very old and charming. It would be perfect for a pre-dinner drink.

Went to brunch on Sunday with my friends. Can't say enough about the food. So many amazing choices - eggs benedict, scones, salads, beef and turkey carving station, bacon, sausage, omelets, french toast, waffles, desserts, the list goes on and on. The waitstaff are so friendly and they don't rush you at all. If you go, make sure you make... More

This has become one of my favorite establishments to dine in for Sunday brunch. The ambience is lovely especially during the Fall and Winter when they have the hearth ablaze.....gas, but, still lovely. The Brunch selection is vast and well prepared. The table begins with more typical Breakfast fare, breads and muffins, followed by bagels and smoked salmon, crew, cheese, butter... More

Within the Hotel Northampton is Wiggins Tavern. My wife and I, new to Northampton, popped in mid-evening on a Friday, and enjoyed a cocktail and heavy apps. Service was a tad slow, but we weren't in any hurry, but also the service was very friendly. The bartended made sure we were totally accomodated, and made a couple of nice menu... More

While staying overnight during a 'discover family roots' visit this summer, we dropped in for cocktails before dinner elsewhere. Between my wife and I, we had a variety of fine cocktails, including 'Old Fashioned', Perfect Manhattan, and gin Martini. Yes, we were 'hoofing' it to our dinner engagement, so didn't have to worry about driving. Had a good chat with... More

When you think tavern you probably think of a dark place with lots of people guzzling beer. Not so at Wiggins. On this Thursday at noon the tavern was filled with couples, small groups, and ladies doing lunch (like me). There is no beer smell in this tavern and it appears that never a cigarette or cigar has been smoked... More

Tired menu. Tired food, not particularly fresh. Overpriced. The breakfast is particularly disappointing. Better off at the Bluebonnet diner up the road, for a quarter of the price.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal recently. We come to Northampton about once a month but rarely think about eating here. The food was excellent. Our server was very attentive. The price for their food is slightly more expensive than similar places in the area but still worth checking out. I love the decor of the tavern as... More

My husband and I ate dinner at Wiggins twice while staying at the Hotel Northampton. The service was really very good, and on the night we were attending a concert at the Calvin Theatre, we were served at a nice pace, but never rushed. The meal choices are a good variety, and our dinners were quite good. Not the best... More

Enjoyed a lovely dinner and an awesome Sunday Brunch at the Wiggins Tavern. The interior boasts an intimate pub type feeling with a cozy fireplace. Wait staff was very upbeat and positive. My husband had a bowl of Clam Chowder - deeeeelish! I had a bowl of potato soup - again deeeeelish. We each had a Filet - cooked to... More
