its to bad they dont use better meats on their fresh baked breads. sitting outside here is really nice. more
The food here is good, no doubt about that. I love the chocolate brioche with a nice cup of coffee, and sometimes I just get the toast with jam...a great snack for any time of day. Woodstar makes its own bread - bread that gives the many bakeries in the area a serious run for their money. Get a sandwich on their country sourdough - it has a subtle creaminess, just a slight sourdough tang, and a delicious carmelized crust. Even better, get a loaf of sourdough, take it home, and eat it with some good... more
The Woodstar has got to be the best cafe outside of Seattle!! The bread and pastries are out-of-this-world. The soups - yum. The coffee is gourmet. And the couple that own the place are so completely friendly and responsive. :) more

Woodstar is one of my favourite haunts. You can depend on their food to always be delicious and fresh. And the coffee is good, too. The place is small, friendly, upbeat. Highly recommend it for lunch. more
