Yes it is a busy place but so well worth the wait for a super sandwich, perfectly brewed coffee and the baked goods from the muffins to breads to the by-far best eclair in the world - make this a go-to place whenever I am in the area. This is NOT an alternative to Starbucks - it is a unique... More

Justing visiting and Woodstar was recommended particularly for their delicious sourdough bread. We had lunch two days in a row: soup, sandwiches and desserts were fab. Great spot,

Woodstar is definitely one of my "go to" places in Northampton. It's perfect for a quick business meeting with a client, meeting friends for coffee, or taking the kids for a delicious treat after school. The Chocolate croissants are absolutely amazing...buttery, flakey, filled with delicious soft chocolate gooeyness. Yum! Add a Cafe Mocha or chai tea latte and you will... More

Woodstar is a refuge for people who -- for political reasons -- want to avoid the more pleasant ambiance and better service (and coffee) at the Starbucks around the corner. Don't count on getting a table unless you arrive at opening time. People park themselves at the cafe, with their laptops, all day.

Woodstar is one of my favorite places in Northampton. For starters, it has great cupcakes. The chocolate croissants are seriously buttery and delicious. On the warm drinks front, their chai tea latte and hot chocolate are also great. Love their whole grain bagels, and they also bake a bunch of different hearty breads. A very popular place, so it's not... More

Once again, Northampton takes the cake (sorry) for the best bakery in the Valley. I remember the best baguettes ever from Susanne Naegeli, and the best pastries, tortes and German breads from Konditorei Normand, and with their passing, Woodstar offers the most delicious traditional cakes, eclairs and other pastries as well as wonderful brioche and breads. I have yet to... More

Stopped in with friends prior to attending a concert at the Iron Horse. Ordered the Iced Chai Ginger Tea. Wanted to try it as menu indicated that it had the added bite of ginger and I like a chai tea that has a nice bite to it. There was the bite of ginger alright but there was no evidence of... More

Woodstar's gorgeous windows with light streaming through and hardwood tables with benches and chairs add to quirky Northampton atmosphere to create a nice space for working, chatting, or simply picking up a pastry or focaccia to go!

Lucky for a sunny Easter morning and able to take advantage of the outside seating. Great soy latte, but the big surprise was the wide selection of Gluten Free baked goods. Cookies were great, moist and chewy with a crispy seed crust.
