Late Sunday breakfasts don't get much more Americana than a coin juke box at your booth (with Don McLean's American Pie sides A & B), with fresh eggs, pancakes, marble rye toast and crisp bacon looking up at you, and a view of life on Main Street going by. Not fancy but still clean and wholesome.

If you visiting Look Park, or just looking for a place to grab the true diner experience, go to the Miss Florence Diner. We were immediately seated at the counter and offered either breakfast or lunch. All the food is freshly made - the vegetable chili had freshly cut vegetables, and a non-acidic sauce - and my husband's omelette was... More

Best poached eggs and perfect crispy bacon. But they think I am stupid. The 2 by 2 special breakfast is $2.00 extra on the w/e. Duh??? Same breakfast on 'non-special' menu is not charged the extra $2.00 on the weekend. That is an insulting business practice. Shame on them. I question whether I would return.

Our family had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. First off, when we entered it was just my wife and I but we were also going to have our son, wife and two grandchildren arriving shortly. The waitress, Chelsea, looked around and only had booths for four. In the corner was a table for six, but a party of four... More

We checked this place out for the first time for breakfast. The food was good and priced right. The service was friendly and timely. The crowd of locals is a good sign that the food is good and we were not disappointed. We will check them out for lunch sometime to see how they fair. The food isn't fancy but... More

I came in for a haddock sandwich. As usual it was fresh and tasty. The service was another story all together. The server took my order and that was the last time she ever spoke to me. She silently plunked down my dish, turned away and announced to her coworkers that she was "going outside." I was almost done when... More

When we lived in the Northampton area in the 1970's the Miss Florence Diner was our place to go to for a weekend breakfast. Visiting the area again, we were delighted to find out that the place is still going strong. If you are a fan of old-school diners, this is a spot for you. I particularly recommend the corned... We love diners and this one met all our expectations for an awesome diner. The decor is perfect. You feel like you are in an authentic diner. Now, the food. You get all the standard diner options plus daily specials. The food is really tasty and tastes homemade. I had the beef stew special and my husband got the Thanksgiving... More

This place has a great, cheap breakfast with lots of regulars. The decor is typical diner and could benefit from a thorough cleaning. Have tried Dinner here, but the food was merely Okay and the prices were a bit excessive for the quality. If you're looking for a breakfast place in Northampton that doesn't charge Manhattan prices and has a... More

Rainy day activities in Northampton included a lunch with my two grand nieces at the Miss Florence Diner. Portions were large and tasty. The server made appropriate recommendations about sharing a large side of fries between the three of us. My Ruben was well done with a big portion of corned beef. The small mac and cheese of one of... More
