It has limited seating, about 12 at the counter. Limited menu hot dogs with a variety of toppings, hamburgers and fries. The price is right and the ambiance unique as it will be 100 years in this location in 2017. It is a must eat if you want to dine like the locals. Ones not into health food anyway.

My wife has talked about this place for 15 yrs and finally she got to take me and the kids. Diner counter with no frills but plenty of friendly service. The plan is to get in, eat and get out as there are only 10 or so seats in the place. Definitely a unique experience for the area. Oh yeah,... More

Read about this small restaurant in Adams, Mass and just had to find it! The hot dogs are small so most people have two. Family recipe since 1917. Burgers, fries and onion rings all hand made on spot. Very small, counter top only seating but worth the stop for a historic spot!

Super hole in the wall restaurant at the end of Eagle St in North Afams. Quite a limited menu, if you don't want a dog or burger, go somewhere else, but if you do want one, this is the place! They used to have a contest for who could eat the most ($) in one sitting. I don't think it... More

The restaurant is small . The hot dogs are small with the skins on but they are oh so good . There is a chart on the wall to list how many some customers have eaten .Its a small fun place . Your choice of toppings . It gets very busy at lunch .

I've been to Jack's on more than one occasion and before moving to North Adams it was one place that I always made sure that I stopped into when visiting. If you like an authentic hot dog stand there is not better place in Berkshire County in my opinion. Jack's is inexpensive and good (bad for you) food. I've tried... More

Always a treat to stop at Jack's. It's sad that pretty much every other shop on Eagle street is empty, but Jack's carries on. Noonish on Saturday and we had to wait for stools, was well worth it. Great dogs (but tiny), and better burgers are guaranteed here.

I actually visited Jack's last Summer so it was likely August 2014. My husband is crazy for this place but it isn't for me. It is a greasy-spoon-counter- cheap-eats dive with a formica counter and stools. I believe their dogs are called "Rhode Island System;" I prefer the "Coney Island System if there is a system... gimme Nathan's or the... More

Jack's is LEGENDARY. This was my go-to place when I was in college because it was good and cheap. Some things never change. I always get the hot sausage pepper, onion and cheese sandwich, a cheese dog with relish and ketchup and a small chocolate milk. Fries are optional but this time I didn't get the fries. The nostalgia alone... More
