We had a rather unfortunate experience. Our order was placed with the cashier but after a half hour wait we discovered that the initial order was incorrect and did not contain one item that we had ordered and, even worse, the incorrect order was not transmitted to the kitchen. At this point we were both pressed for time and starving... More

We often eat at the Gramercy Bistro at MASS MoCA as we often stay at the Porches. This last visit was a disappointment. The service was very slow, the waiter neglected to take our order correctly and although we had plenty of food to enjoy, the lapse was noticeable. The food was okay but we had eaten at Mezze in... We were not thrilled. Sat for 10 minutes before getting water, 20 minutes for bread and a glass of wine. Extremely noisy. No sound absorbing materials to be seen. Dirty dishes piled high on several tables. Bland Caesar salad, good chicken breast, awful semifreddo dessert (freezer burned!) and watery coffee. Skip it and go to friendlys like another reviewer suggested.

If you're going to spend a day at MassMoCA, eating at Gramercy Park twice makes sense. At least it did for us. Lunch was so great—Salad Nicoise, Sesame Noodles, Mojito and Beer (and excellent service)—that we decided to return for dinner! That turned out to be Soup, Crabcake, Ravioli, Tuna and a nice bottle of wine. Thoroughly delightful. Great service... More

We tried to go to the MassMoca, but got there too late. They told us of a show that would be there that evening and although we had reservations in Williamstown, we cancelled for convenience. The food was unexpectedly good and atmosphere nice on the patio outside. The food was excellent and we paid what it was worth. Overall, a... More

My wife and I attempted to go to brunch on Sunday, but were so turned off by the reception as we walked in the door we left. As soon as she stepped into the restaurant, a server behind the bar said "I'll be right with you" without even looking up, and as I walked in 5 seconds later he repeated... More

Food was incomparable..what I expect to find in NY or SF but not at all pricey..in fact probably undervalued. The veal schnitzel was to die for. Zero complaints about food. As stated in many other reviews, the service was sketchy and I can never understand why a restaurant would put out such great product using staff that just don't seem... More

Our party of 4 had lunch here before visiting Mass MOCA. It's a lovely restaurant with an great menu which made it hard to choose. We had a very helpful waiter and we all were more than pleased with our meals. Prices are reasonable too. Restaurant is right in MassMOCA so it is really convenient when combining a meal with... Ate at Gramercy on a recent weekday evening. We were one of three parties in the restaurant. We were seated quickly by a friendly guy but had to wait a long time to place drink orders with a very crabby server. I am not exactly sure how long it took, but it was long enough for my husband and I... More

This review is for a catered event. We were served heavy h'orderves that were fairly mediocre, though some things were delicious. The meat satay/shishkabob was dismal (everyone agreed at the party) while their pulled pork slider was pretty good. The shrimp wrapped in prosciutto had an interesting sauce that was good, as well as the stuffed mushroom. The lobster roll... More
