An Artistic Meal

A calm, lovely restaurant within MassMOCA. Service was excellent. Though I thought the chicken liver mousse I had as a starter was bland, the sweetbreads for my main course were excellent. The large room has subdued lighting and lots of interesting paintings on the walls. The overall impression... read more

For an upscale restaurant, we were a little disappointed with the service. Our bread plates weren't cleared and we were only checked in on once. My scallop sauce was bland. The veggies and the filet mignon were delicious.

We go to Gramercy Bistro when we want a nice, elegant place to eat with good food. They offer lots of locally sourced ingredients, well prepared and served.

A little hard to find, and a funny little entrance to boot, but what a nice surprise once inside. the menu is a mix of old standards with new twists as well as some not so common offerings - trout or duck, for instance, even paella. This is a nice spot to take someone for a special dinner, the ambiance... More

Having eaten at Gramercy Bistro several times, I can honestly report it is the best dining experience in the Williamstown-North Adams area. In fact, it may be the finest in all of Berkshire County. The owner Chef has created a New York experience in a bucolic setting. Located in MassMoca it is a sophisticated oasis and not be missed on... More

I absolutely would go back to this place. The food was fresh well made and presented. I had a tasty arugula salad to start and for main course I had the Scallop pate. They were fresh and creatively made. The deconstructed apple pie dessert was superb also. Prices are reasonable for a fine dining establishment.

Had an excellent dinner at their new location. Service was excellent and friendly and food wonderful. So good was the dinner we came back for lunch the next day before exploring the museum. The BLT with fried oysters was unique and tasty.

Gramercy Bistro is one of our favorite restaurants in the North Adams/Williamstown area and we usually try to stop in for a meal when we’re in town. The space adjacent to MASS MoCA is beautifully appointed (although we still miss the original, cozier space outside of the museum) and the tables and booths are quite spacious. During our most recent... More

Returned two weeks after our first visit since all of the overrated restaurants in Williamstown fill up with the theatre festival crowd. This is really quite good for a museum restaurant - could give the Whitney a run for its money. Unwarranted negative reviews may keep the crowds at bay but we have been absolutely with two recent evenings -... More
