I thought my GPS had brought me to the wrong place, as signage was minimal and I wasn't expecting the former warehouse exterior, but once inside, I could tell that Gramercy Bistro offered something special. I started with a wonderful, perfectly balanced carrot ginger soup. Wow. I chose the sesame tuna as my entree, it was better than I could... More

This is a local North Adams restaurant with high end European touches. The menu is just extensive enough with several great choices plus daily specials. Service was excellent with plenty of time between courses to enjoy conversation with friends. If you like to drink spirits you are in the right place as the selection is awesome. Parking is excellent, easy... More

Maybe the chef was off on the day after Thanksgiving, which would make sense as the dining room was almost empty. Our foursome had some good dishes, some not so good. Among the appetizers the mussels were excellent, the Caesar salad just OK, and the spinach salad soaked in a sharply over-vinegared dressing and nearly inedible. For mains the pork... More

Wednesday evening 7:30 we are the 2nd group of customers in restaurant. Onion soup very good. It should be for $8. Pickled veggies and bread served. both just okay. Meals expensive. Rib eye $27 and my old shoe would have been more tender. Buried is so much sauce had to get clean plate. Paella small size for $25, rice like... More

On our way to MassMOCA, we stumbled upon this restaurant and, realizing our hunger, thought we'd strike while the oven was hot. Good thing we did, for what a food mecca this turned out to be! Dinner already planned, and only hours away, we thought we'd eat a "light" lunch, but we left full and satisfied in extremis. We ordered... More

We've spent a week eating lunches and dinners in this area and this was our best meal of the week and it was only a lunch. The restaurant was full so we had to sit at the bar( which we normally never do). The bartender was charming and made excellent recommendations. We started with butternut squash soup which was perfection.... More

Staying at Porches, this is a logical dinner choice. It is delicious and fun, but service was definitely challenged the night we were there. Very nice, but hurried when at the table and slow overall.

Nice ambience and location, but middling food that's under seasoned (salt shaker anyone?). Service was terrible. Rarely saw waiter, sat with empty glasses and dirty plates in front of us for long stretches of time. 20 minutes to pay our check. Next time we want a special occasion restaurant, we'll look elsewhere.

A nice bistro right on the grounds of Mass MOCA. Beautiful food, nice wine list and locally sourced. Service was not terrific, but the food was!

Gramercy Bistro catered my daughter's wedding in August and the food and service could not have been better. Celisha organized everything with professional precision, nothing was missing from the moment our guests arrived until they left. As the mother of the bride, my day went without a hitch. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented and delicious. The servers did a... More
