My daughter and I stopped by here one afternoon and had hot fudge sundaes. What a sweet treat! The whipped cream was to SO good! I'd drive the hour from home just to have it again! Then there was the hot fudge and ice cream which was also delicious. All together it was the best sundae I've had in a... More

This place has the best ice cream ever with lots of delicious flavours and great service. It's definitely worth going out of your way for. Lots of people seem to be in on the secret though, so you might have to line up a little.

I'm lactose intolerant so I can't speak for the ice cream, but the sherbet is good. However, I would say it's comparable to a tub of Häagen Dazs sherbet from the grocery. Yummy, but expensive.

When we want to "go out for ice cream," we don't go to Cabot's or JP Licks, we go to White Mountain Creamery. It has a nice, old-fashioned ice cream shop character that the others lack. The friendly owner often serves and can remember orders even from a few days ago. The place is somewhat quirky and on the walls... More

White Mountain has great tasting ice cream and the service is always pleasant. It's a neat place with plenty of seating and fair prices. The ice cream is flavorful but some flavors could be creamier, in my opinion. The peanut butter chocolate is pretty awesome as is the coffee oreo.

We've been big fans of this White Mountain for years, and just tried it again during a visit. The ice cream was OK, nothing special, and the prices were ridiculously expensive, even for Boston. We'll remember it fondly bur probably won't return.

Always friendly service and consistently delicious ice cream. I've been going here for about 3 years and I always recommend to friends and family.

Massachusetts has many great ice cream places and White Mountain Creamery is the best! The ice cream is homemade and is rich in quality. Death By Chocolate ice cream and Raspberry sorbet are my favorite flavors. Their ice cream cakes are incredible. The staff are friendly, there is plenty of free parking on the street and the hours are great... More

The ice cream flavors are appealing and the ice cream is pretty good. Other places, like JP Licks, have more fat in their ice cream so it has a richer flavor. The hot fudge at White Mountain Creamery doesn't taste rich and thick, more like the chocolate syrup you buy in the supermarket. There are plenty of nice tables to... More

I do not know what the hoopla is about this place. The ice cream is just average and it is very expensive. The service is nothing special, either. They do make a mean lime rickey, however! That, too is expensive, but possibly worth the price.
