Overwhelmingly noisy, short on wait staff, uneven food preparation and limited choice of entrees. Judging from other reviews you never know what your dining experience will be like. On this Saturday night they were packed, including the bar, mostly with millennials, some of whom were standing and drinking near the bar, contributing to the incredible din. Although we had a... This is a very good neighborhood restaurant for special occasion or just a drop in. Foods are always fresh and good, but on the pricey side.

There is much to like about 51 Lincoln but the atmosphere is a downer. We made a reservation and arrived on time to an almost empty restaurant. We were offered a table under a blast of cold air from a vent which we refused for good reason. We were given the only other available table almost inside the filthy kitchen... More

This is the first time I have stated it is one of the best meals I have had and it was. Started out with the fish taco that was of very good size and excellent flavors. They surprised us with a small beet appetizer that was equally delicious. Than my Hake dinner with Bok Choy was obviously freshly made and... More

The food and drink specialties were absolutely fantastic. The waitress recommendations were spot on. The restaurant is a neighborhood gem with great ambiance to go with its top notch menu. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.

The food was fair at best, but the bartenders were the absolute worst! Do not sit at the bar! Very rude!

I live right down the street from this place and never thought to venture in because it was a little pricey. However my girlfriend and I were celebrating and thought it to be a good place to do so. Very modern menu. MIT is always changing but we ordered an appetizer that consisted of polenta fries and a dipping sauce... More

Attended a business dinner for 15 in a basement function room. The service was informed, efficient and pleasant. The food was good quality. Wine list adequate and reasonably priced. I was especially pleased with my choices of chicken livers for the appetizer and rigatoni bolognaise (a house specialty) for the main course. I took the smaller serving of the latter... More

This restaurant has changed hands many times but now it has landed in a good pair. The vibe from the moment we entered was lively and upbeat, the service attentive and the food way beyond our expectations. In our party of 4 tried the tasting menu, the Scottish Salmon, one of the entree specials and a Pasta Bolognese. Every person... More
