We went to this restaurant because we had a coupon. The service was fine and the food served in a timely manner. There is a very limited menu. However, our salads were doused in dressing. Both of our meals were overly salty. The spinach was so lemony it stung. The prices are high for what you get. I would have... More

We had a reservation for an early dinner on a Friday night, and I noted on the reservation that it was our anniversary. I'm sure the staff treats all diners well, but we felt that we were treated like royalty. We were given a table for four along the banquette so that we could sit side-by-side, which was so much... When in doubt, grab a seat at the bar or on the hightops near it. The bar menu has the most fun offerings, plus the full dining room menu is available there to but not vice versa. You can't get the great bar menu when you sit in the regular dining room. the bartender has a rather perfunctory personality but... More

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my meal. I ordered the skirt steak. The meat was TOUGH..... a little overdone for medium rare...... and way over priced at $38. The ramp was limp and potatoes not memorable. My companions had shrimp, which was ok, and pasta bolognese, again ok. All in all not a very complementary meal for a family... More

We had a great meal on Friday night - lively crowd - highlights were succulent chicken, large tender shrimp and the soft shell crabs were excellent! Homemade chocolate chip cookies for desert were to die for, but the "milk" was a tiny glass instead of normal size. Pleasant atmosphere with great art all around... friendly staff was very knowledgeable and... More

After a mixed 1st outing to the restaurant, I came back. Happy to report that it was a much better experience. I had the same server, and he was professional, thoughtful and very kind. We were seated quickly, rather than the random 10 min wait we incurred last time when nearly the entire restaurant was empty. And, when they accidentally... More

We were a party of four so we tasted multiple dishes. The food was good but nothing exceptional. Nice selection of local products but they go a little overboard trying to make the preparation somewhat exotic. Scallops were good but the sauce and vegetables just OK. Pasta with pesto was very bland. Service was good and ambiance nice but a... More

Great food, great service, and nice menu selection. The watermelon steak is the unique appetizer choice that was interesting to try once, but candidly several other more "normal" appetizers that my table shared were better.

First-time diner here. Went with my teen-age son. The nearly schizophrenic reviews on this place made me curious as to what we would find. True to the other reviews, there was both good and bad here. There's just a shocking inconsistency to the place. The good: Home-made bread is excellent We tried the home-made charcuterie and ordered prosciutto and salami... More

I enjoy 51 lincoln, but am hoping they add a few more "signature" dishes to the menu. Everything we had was fine, but at upscale prices, I'd hope for better than 'fine'. Service was good, and I continue to like the atmosphere.
