Good food after rough start

We made a reservation for dinner and when we arrived the host took us down in the basement down a dark hallway past the restrooms and coat rack to another seating area. There was no one else down there and despite some pretty candles it was kind of claustrophobic. I pushed back until he moved us... read more

51 Lincoln has been my go to place this year when entertaining co-workers visiting from our corporate office. The restaurant is cozy, with an upscale neighborhood feel, and has been consistently good – with something for everyone to enjoy - over my last several visits. Service is also very good. The menu is short and changes regularly. In addition the... More

We went here to try the restaurant out since we always pass it. For an appetiser, we had a salad that was very very good. For the main course I had a very good Long Island duck and for desert we had something less exciting. And lastly the service was great! Overall, this place is very good except it does... More

Came with my husband with MIL on a chilly fall night. The restaurant is very noisy and we sat and waited for someone to offer us a drink. I noticed staff discussing our table and who was going to get us. Finally someone came over and we ordered drinks. The pasta special got raves and the watermelon steak with feta... More

The watermelon steak app is one of the most creative and tasty plates I've had in a while. My fiancé had the Bolognese which was very good, I had the steak which was overcooked initially but quickly resolved with a new piece but I still wouldn't recommend it. The sides where good but the steak itself even at medium rare... More

Had enjoyed this restaurant over the years but will not go back. The service was terrible and that is why we will not go back, the bar tender was unsanitary as he was scratching his bare arms and then pouring drinks without washing his hands, the food fair .....

We used to LOVE this neighborhood restaurant. Top food, friendly service -- always a bit pricey but well worth it. A few years have passed, and this restaurant has slipped considerably. The service was mediocre -- we had to remind the server that we had ordered wine; the service was not friendly. One of us had a dirty fork with... More

Chef/Owner Jeffrey Fournier, when he is not cooking, is a painter and printmaker. His restaurant is a complete and personal expression in which the artist finds various means of expression from a broad palette of taste to please a discerning palate with taste. One of the specialities is charcuterie, whether a finely grained and silky chicken paté that is assertively... More

We have gone here for years, but for awhile they changed the menu to be more what was what the chef thought was seasonal and right and not exactly what the patrons wanted. He changed his ways. Now we have a menu, again, that is interesting and fresh and not just what the chef/owner "thinks" you should be having. Much... More
