Great Irish Pub Experience

We visited with a group of 9 for a work event, the service was fantastic - they were attentive to our needs and even provided some samples of their famous eggplant fries. I had a Guinness which was poured perfectly (as it should be in a Irish pub) and the entre special of the night, Sage Farro... read more

We dined here based on the very positive reviews on this site. Service was outstanding, decor was outstanding, and we really enjoyed the experience. It was lively and noisy, but not too loud. It reminded us of visiting pubs in Dublin. Although several groups were seated in the bar area waiting for a table, as a couple, we were seated... More

We go here, often as we live close by. The food is of good quality and well prepared. The service is genuine and the price is right. I love their Baked Schrod. It reminds me of the old Legal Seafood recipe. Drinks are abundant and delicious as well as great selection of beer.

The pluses: excellent food, especially the eggplant fries; decent prices; colorful atmosphere; fun decorations. The minuses: very loud and crowded-- getting a table can take a while; parking is difficult Pros outweigh the cons. Try it!

Stopped here after a wake - needed some good food and a couple drinks, and Dunn's Tavern (well, as we've heard it called) hit the spot. It was pretty quiet on a Monday night at 8:30pm (first Monday night after NFL season, so Monday Night Football, which I'm sure is pretty big at this place). Friendly bartender offered a sampling... While the food might be a tad expensive, everything you order will be delicious. I've eaten here a few times, as they are local to me, and food is consistently delicious. The services is good also.

Consistently good food, a very civic minded owner, an active scene. The space is a bit cramped and segmented. And parking can be a real problem.

Food is OK in menu selection & preparedness, but not worthy of the astronomical gourmet prices they charge. It's always crammed, and no where to park or wait when you get in the door. Skip it & go next door to Echo Bridge for better food and more space with hospitality.

The parking lot is downright scary, but luckily one of the charming waiters was nice enough to help direct us into the spot. Upon being seated, we were treated to a complimentary dish of eggplant fries, which by the way, are amazing! Very attentive service for the remainder of the meal and standard but delicious pub fare. The atmosphere is... More
