Went here with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Promptly brought to our table which was decorated with rose petals. Nice touch! We ordered wedge salad and lobster bisque to start which were delicious. We each ordered a steak -- my wife requested medium but it was too rare. They recooked the steak but overcorrected and ended up too well... More

Yes, you can order Wagyu Beef and many other expensive fancy meals prepared by excellent chefs, but nothing can beat the French Onion Soup in this restaurant. You can get a small portion or a large one. The large one will be your entire meal and you will be happy. The cheese is heavenly, the soup simmered for 200 years... More

They were running a special burger/wine promotion for the month of November at the bar so a friend and I decided to try it out. Great choices of wine pairings with speciality burgers! It was girls night out and we really enjoyed our meal, would definitely be back with my husband!

You can't beat the Capital Grille for excellence in fine dining and service. It is very expensive but you get what you pay for. I have been to the Newton and Burlington locations on multiple occasions. Yesterday, I dined with a friend at the Newton location, on Route 9 near the old Atrium Mall and across the street from the... More

I have eaten at this Capital Grille many times over the last several years. The service is exceptional. Many staff people have been with the restaurant for many years. Turnover is very low. The quality of the food is phenomenal. Steak, sea food, chicken, you name it - it's the best there is!! The tuna steak is the best served... More

Capital Grill is great for birthday celebrations--they ask you when you arrive whether it's for a special event, and a birthday dessert plate with chocolate something and creme brûlée arrives at the end of the meal without your asking. The steaks are perfectly cooked. We had filet mignon, both bone-in and sliced, as well as lamb chops, and everything was... More

Not cheap but always a winner. great steak, solid wine list, and tasty side dishes. If you go , ask for Denise. She is the best server and always treats you as a special guest. the coconut cream pie for dessert is worth the hour on the treadmill you will spend in order to bank enough calories! If you want... My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner at the Capital Grill in Chestnut Hill. Upon hearing it was our anniversary, we were seated at a table which had rose petals sprinkled across the tablecloth and on the table were two champagne flutes with champagne sparkling in them. The dinner itself was delicious and we pretty much are everything.... More

I eat at this Capital Grille once or twice a year for either a special occasion or business dinner. Last night was a business dinner for a party of 7. I had called to confirm the reservation for 7, but they had me down for 6. We waited and they reset the table. It is loud and hard to hear... More

There are so many steak restaurants in Boston to choose from. I use to like Capital Grille. My mother took my husband and I, and my brother and his wife last Sunday the 21st. It was such a disappointment. After taking our order our waiter disappeared, my mother's order was wrong, her side order didn't come out until my mother... More
