Great food and service with accompanying price

Was traveling with a team throughout Boston area for a week. This is where we had our last dinner as a team. Expect great food and service, but prices are a bit steep ($10 for a small cup of chowder?). Entrees come with no sides, so plan on sharing side dishes with the table. Best part was... read more

A gift certificate to the Capital Grille was a true gift! We were served a terrific meal made special by the wait staff. Upon arrival we revealed that it was an anniversary and when escorted to the table strewn with rose petals, we had a memorable photo taken and inserted into a card bearing staff signatures. Then the meal was... More

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic meal here on Saturday! We have been to the Burlington and downtown Boston locations so haven't been to Chestnut Hill in over a year. I have to say that by far the Chestnut Hill location is our favorite. I have had great meals at the other Boston area Capital Grille restaurants but we... More

Capitol Grille is one of the few restaurants that actually pays attention to your requests for a quiet table. The wait staff is well trained and familiar with the ins and outs of the menu. The food ranges from good to excellent. They go all out for special occasions so this is a really good choice for a birthday or... More

Went out for Restaurant Week...arrived at 5pm, Seemed somewhat understaffed in comparison to other times I've been there. We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu and it seemed that the waiter treated us differently until he saw we added sides and ordered wine and cocktails. The food was excellent (filet and salmon dishes). The cocktails were phenomenal but as others... More

Went for Dine Out Boston Week- Turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we have had. Clam chowder and Caesar salad were great. Sirloin was spectacular - cooked perfectly - very flavorful. Sam's mashed potatoes were excellent - not sure how you can make mashed potatoes so good. Crème brulee out of this world. Cannot wait to... More

Let me start by saying the food was cooked to perfection and was amazing. The Kona steak was amazing, mashed potatoes great and wedge salad awesome. The only reason I cant rare this perfect was due to multiple server errors. The server brought a salad to my coworker after he ordered soup. My coworker ordered the Kona steak with no... More

I have been to the Capital Grille in Boston and in Las Vegas and this experience was one of the most disappointing of all my restaurant visits. We checked in at the hostess desk a little before our reservation time. We were greeted very pleasantly. I needed to go to the restroom and the hostess showed me where it was.... More

I've been a faithful customer of Capital Grille for the last 15+ years, eating at most of their restaurants in the US as I travel almost weekly for work. We went to the Chestnut Hill location last night to celebrate my son's birthday. Sometimes little things go wrong and you overlook them but at an establishment with this reputation and... More

Had a great time with the family. I had a ribeye and it was cooked to perfection and so tender it melted away as I ate it. The sides were terrific as well. Both my wife and daughter enjoyed everything as well. The service was excellent.
