I don't know how their wings came to be well known. They were small and when I asked what kind of sauce they used they said Frank's Red Hot!!! That can be found in any supermarket in New England. And at 10 dollars for ten wings it's not a bargain.

This is a fun, casual place in Newton MA known for its Buffalo wings. (Buff's). Their sweet potato fries and the burgers are also very good. If you want something healthier, the grilled chicken salad is also good. Service is efficient and attentive. Can't use your credit card here; pay cash.

Buff's is a cute little place. It's a bar/pub. The stuffed buffalo head is a nice touch. The restaurant was pretty empty on the evening of July 3. The Harpoon IPA on tap didn't have the best head- maybe it was towards the end of the barrel. The waitstaff were pleasant and efficient. We decided to do some chicken wing... More

Went to Buff's today with a group of 12 children and adults, to watch a soccer game and have lunch. There were lots of tv's and, fortunately, we were able to get seated because I called ahead and was told they don't take reservations. This is a small place. Service was attentive, though our waitress was pretty gruff and seemed... More

Called ahead to assure they would seat our family group of 9 (4 grandparents, 2 parents, and 3 kids). Arrived to find the person in charge at the door to be absolutely unpleasant, unwelcoming, and un-necessarily rude. Could not report anything about the food because we were told no table would be available for an unspecified amount of time. At... More

I was pleasantly surprised the first time we went to Buff's Pub 5 years ago when we moved to Watertown, MA from upstate NY. We were used to the best Buffalo Wings around but Buff's certainly stands up to their wing title!!! Other food is excellent too - try the Deep Fried Pickles. Good drink selection and wait staff friendly... More

We were excited to try Buff's Pub after great reviews as well as a recommendation from a friend. Although my two companions had really good burgers, my Spicy Teriyaki wings, although spicy, we're not the least bit teriyaki. For a place that has award winning wings, this was a huge let down. I've had better wings so many other places.... More

This is one of those places that you hear about all the time. People just live it here. It's nothing fancy for sure but has an awesome atmosphere and great food plus cold beer and friendly wait staff. If you like wings and beer and you don't try this place you are doing a disservice to yourself.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza, while this hotel is not great the food at Buff's helped. We had a great Steak Tip salad with pears, one of the best meals we had the whole trip. Looks are deceiving...don't be steered away! We also had fried pickles, they were spicy and flavorful!I had the hamburger, which was great. Sweet potato... More
