My family and I ordered soups for each member, and we paid with a credit card because we had no cash. My son spilled his, and so we ordered another. When we picked it up, we handed over our credit card, but the server said that there was a $10 minimum on credit card use. I explained that my son... More

What a find. Business associate took me there and although there was a bit of a wait, it was well worth it. The soup and combo deal is a great value. The clam and corn chowder was excellent and the hamfest sandwich was hammy....loved it. Great choices, great prices, great food.

We frequent the NSF frequently. I LOVE the cookbook! However, the soups are not as healthy as you might think and have way too much salt. I use the cookbook at home and make the recipes healthier. I would recommend the NSF for a casual comfort meal.

Soup was delicious. I tried the clam and corn chowder. It was very thick and yummy. Plenty of clams hidden inside. I ordered a side Caesar salad and I found it interesting that the salad only came with a small container of dressing, lettuce, and four pieces of thinly sliced cheese. No croutons. Very simple but fresh. The soup also... More

Their soup is amazing...perfect for a cold, damp day. I tried the chicken pot pie soup and would recommend it. They serve salads and sandwiches, too, but the soup is where it's at. You can dine in or get your meal to go. They also sell soup to go by the pint or quart. I will keep this in mind... More

Good for take out, although there are a few seats there. There are a lot of soup options and not all will appeal to everyone, but that's part of the fun. One thing to note, for years I passed on their sandwiches because they seemed very small. Turns out they are pretty dense so now I find they are a... More

Nothing fancy. Not a lot of atmosphere (none, actually). But if you like homemade soup (and sandwiches and other good comfort foods) this is a great place to try. The most fun? you can sample as many soups as you want before you make your selection, which sometimes is hard to do because there are so many options to choose... More

New England Soup Factory has a few tables for eating in, but is mainly a take out restaurant. Always know for having great soups (my favorite is the Matzo Ball), Soup Factory added rotisserie chicken, plus a hot table with many other dishes. It honestly is the best rotisserie chicken I have ever had! It is always moist, but also... More

Loved the soup and sandwich options. I stopped for chicken soup as I was nursing a bad cold, but also picked up a tomato parsnip soup from the freezer to save for another time. Both were great. The counter help could use a little work on their people skills though.

Guess I should have asked for a sample before ordering but I didn't. If you like luke-warm, gelatinous soup then order the chicken pot pie. Tiny chicken shreds, veggies, and lots and lots of vaguely warm goo (aka soup) with soggy biscuit rounds (to imitate the pot pie crust). I will give a plus to the french bread roll. Sat... More
