Cosy Greek Family Restaurant

I found this restaurant by chance. I am truly happy to have chanced upon this nice eatery. It speaks Greek to me once I stepped into the restaurant. The fragrance of the meat kebabs and the beautiful colorful array of pickles, salads, pastries, sweets was catching. If you are around Needham or... read more

I went on Wednesday, 12/23, for coffee and dessert but, unfortunately, I found that they don't offer Greek coffee. So, when I saw they had a very nice selection of Greek wines and desserts I opted for red wine with galaktoboureko. The gentleman who helped my at counter was very, very nice; so nice that he stood out from most... More

After being a loyal returning customer, I had taken a hiatus from this restaurant. When I came back this year I saw that the prices had gone up at least 50% for specific items on the menu. Before the change, the restaurant was a cheap option to dine out on a budget. The food was not amazing but it was... More

Management response:

Im sorry to hear that. Please be clear with me and tell me what was it about the food or service that you don't like? When it comes to the price you need to understand that we are also working with inflation. that come with food and labor. every restaurant raises it's prices about 3 to 5% every 2 years.... More

This is a return visit. Food is terrific and varied, service is "take out style" but there are tables and counters, and it's very clean. Many locals including families, police and firemen were there on the occasions when I went. Free parking lot is adjacent

The food is very good - probably the best Greek food in the area but the ambiance is very cold and sterile. It's looks more like a fast food joint than a real restaurant. Great for takeout.

I've been going to Farm Grill off and on for years. When I go, it's because I remember that the food is very good. Excellent chicken gyros and lemon rice soup. When I don't go, it's because I remember that the grumpy older man who usually takes the orders is so unpleasant to deal with. He's been there forever (I... More

The hummus is the best ever. Excellent food overall, but service can be iffy at times. Get it to go and be prepared for a fast-moving order line.

We've gone there for years, the food is not as good lately. Fatty, greasy. They are also a bit rude, always have been. They won't care about this review because they are not into online...hard to order off their website. Not updated. We'll still try it, sometimes, and we'll see if it improves.

I have tried the Greek-inspired restaurants all over the Boston area and the Farm Grill, by far, is the best. Their gyro meat is different than many of the other restaurants, as their meats seem fresher and not as processed. I recently had the lamb shank for the first time and it was delicious. The meals are served more "cafeteria-style"... More
