Pleasant pub atmosphere, festive and energetic on a recent Friday night. Seated quickly. Fairly typical pub food menu with predominance of sandwiches, burgers and a few main course items and specials. We ordered the fish and chips, lamb burger and the Lake sandwich. The fish and chips were average, with a single small piece of fried fish and soggy fries.... More

Stopped by twice while in town, after finding it had good comments on here an google, and I super glad that I did. The place was Great. The service was fast, the food was excellent and it made me wish I live down the street due to the welcoming feel of everyone there including the owner. I recommend you stop... More

The Reuben Sandwich was so scrumptious the first visit, just had it order it on the second Visit!!! The restaurant and tavern have a wide selection of appetizers, short orders or sandwich types and a daily specials of full service repast. The aromas are heavenly and they have a varied selection of wines and beers. They have both foreign and... More

No hostess to be seen while waiting for a seat, then had to wait to order a beer, waited to get it, waited for menu, then really long time to get it, then didn't see them at all so didn't even ask for ketchup, the woman was too busy talking to some girl, then waited for a check. Food frozen... More

Service was extremely slow, perhaps some more wait staff would help. I had the Lobster roll which was well camouflaged with way too much lettuce and diced tomato. (DICED TOMATO ON A LOBSTER ROLL???) On a positive note, we didn't have to do any dishes which is part of the reason we went out on a Friday night after a... More

Met friends recently and dined outdoors on small patio. Haven't been back here since West Street closed and then reopened. We all ordered the same dish so it was hard to judge the ragne of items on the menu. We all had the muscles in wine sauce. Plenty of muscles (though they were a bit on the small side) and... More

This is clearly a locals' place - contractors with contractor trucks in the lot, also couples of all ages, families with children. It has a nice ice beer selection, and a surprisingly charming outdoor deck tucked behind the building. The food is much better than a typical local spot- some truly delicious items. Also the staff are very welcoming.

I wonder why it takes me so long to get back. If you want that "Cheers" kind of atmosphere, this is where to go. Parking can be a bear. But persevere, and enjoy the food of normal people... who eat well. Sweet Potato fries bring me in the door, the sauce they put on their sirloin tips is plate lickingly... More

It's small but someone in the kitchen is making delicious food. Had the cod which had a light panko crust, served over crisp green beans with a side of roasted potatoes. Very nice presentation with a sort of oil and balsamic drizzle around the plate. Very tasty and fresh. Friend had the fish stew which she really enjoyed. We will... More
