We just keep going to Amarin for so many years. Delicious appetizers: chicken and beef satay is our favorite, nice and light spring rolls, seaweed salad is good too. Main courses have a nice variety. My personal favorite is Amarin Chicken, lightly marinated and grilled to perfection. Tender beef platter is good too as well as Tamarind duck. The atmosphere... More

Went to this restaurant with couple of friends. Food and service were good. Cant say anything bad. At the end I gave 15% of tips. Waiter checked the bill with his manager and then asked me if there was something wrong with the service. He explained then that usually people in their restaurant leave at least 20% tips. I proposed... More

Amarin is a bit out of the way and we weren't sure what to expect. We ended up with an impressive meal: nicely spicy but not too overwhelming beef curry, good soups, very well cooked meat and fresh veggies. Recommended, would go back.

Dined here tonite while visiting boston with my daughter. We really enjoyed our dinner. Started with potstickers that had a nice thin wrapper more like a wonton and a tasty sauce. Fried tofu appetizer was just okay. A little too fried and a dry. Them we shared flat noodles with tofu and vegetables which was very good! Overall a lovely... More

We are pretty regular visitors to Amarin -- it's right around the circle from where we live -- and it serves as a go-to restaurant for us with and without guests. The food is consistently good to great, and the service is friendly and attentive. There is a wide selection in both food and spices, and dishes can be as... More

Were looking for a Thai option and this was a great spot. The place we went to ended up closing and was super excited to find this place. Food was excellent and what I expected and most importantly was quick. (Trying to find an alternative with a hungry girlfriend can be tricky). Very happy and will def be back. Pad... More

Three of us ordered dinner. I asked our very gracious server for her suggestion and she brought me a spicy chicken stir fry, with chicken and wide wide semi transparent noodles, bok choi and assorted well prepared vegetables. My guests ordered similar Tai dishes. It was a cold rainy Boston night and the Tai comfort food with the green tea... More

If you didn't know this place was here, you'd miss it. It's literally on the corner of a section of Newton, MA, known as Newton Corner. Almost hidden in plain sight! To add to it's hiddenness, it's down a half level from the street. Even when it's open, you can barely tell it's there. It also looks as if there's... More

Have been eating here for 20 plus years and the food is consistently delicious. The Pad Thai is so fresh. The vegetable rolls are always crisp and even my picky son enjoys them.

Whenever I am home I make sure to get some Amarin in my diet. Whether take out or eat-in, the food is always excellent. My favorite plate is the chicken pad thai with a side of spring rolls. Basic, unadventurous, but man is it good!
