Three of us ordered dinner. I asked our very gracious server for her suggestion and she brought me a spicy chicken stir fry, with chicken and wide wide semi transparent noodles, bok choi and assorted well prepared vegetables. My guests ordered similar Tai dishes. It was a cold rainy Boston night and the Tai comfort food with the green tea... More

If you didn't know this place was here, you'd miss it. It's literally on the corner of a section of Newton, MA, known as Newton Corner. Almost hidden in plain sight! To add to it's hiddenness, it's down a half level from the street. Even when it's open, you can barely tell it's there. It also looks as if there's... More

Have been eating here for 20 plus years and the food is consistently delicious. The Pad Thai is so fresh. The vegetable rolls are always crisp and even my picky son enjoys them.

Whenever I am home I make sure to get some Amarin in my diet. Whether take out or eat-in, the food is always excellent. My favorite plate is the chicken pad thai with a side of spring rolls. Basic, unadventurous, but man is it good!

I have been to Amarin Thai several times in the past and usually had good food and good experience. However, the last time I went there (this week), the food was not well cooked. When I reported that the food was not tasty or well cooked, the wait-staff said that they have never had a complaint and that I did... More

The vegetable curry (ask for fresh veggies only to avoid canned baby corn, etc.) is amazing. Mine had 16 different fresh vegetables and fresh basil in a perfectly-spiced red curry sauce. Coconut flavor and a hint of fish sauce. Yum. The Nam Sod (minced chicken) salad needed more flavor and veges. Service was very attentive. I've been here a number... More

Was told this was the best Thai food around, it was disappointing and pricey for what it was, service was also slow.

The restaurant looks and feels quite good, however the food was below average: we went for lunch and ordered 4 dishes to share. None of them were great and the flavors felt wrong. We eat a lot of Asian and Thai food and were unimpressed.

Nice atmosphere. Fast service, just had a quick lunch. Very good shrimp dish. Plenty of choice on menu for lunch or dinner. Would go back to try for major meal next time.

Try the lemon grass shrimp, it was excellent. Pad Thai was vey good as well as the musuman curry. Very well appointed restaurant with nice themed furnishings. Standout was the staff though. Extremely polite and efficient, reminds me of the excellent service you'd get in east Asia (philippines, Singapore, Thailand etc)
