We love the Thai food here and order takeout whenever we have out of town visitors who want a food change of pace. The restaurant is also pleasant to eat in. I also eat in for business lunch meetings or other get togethers as it is just off Exit 17 of the MA Pike. Not inexpensive, but always tasty. Our... More

Members of my group ordered: Pad See Ew (vegetable) Crazy Noodles (chicken) Massaman Curry (chicken) and Chew Chee Duck. Each person rated their meal either a 4 or a 5. Food was delicious, vegetables fresh, portions delicious. I liked the coconut soup. Service prompt, atmosphere pleasant, noise level not excessive. The only reason I didn't give this place a "5"... We get takeout from here every few weeks. Solid thai take out. The stir fried rice is probably the best thing on the menu. Spring rolls are pretty standard although the sauce they give you is outstanding. We also love the pacific chicken and the warm beef salad. The shrimp with black bean sauce isn't worth it.

I go to Amarin about every 2 years and am never disappointed. I went just before 6 on a Friday night, and they had ample seating. I was out in an hour after a full meal. The shrimp spring rolls were fresh with 2 dipping sauces. The hot and sour soup was a bit thin but did have 3 medium... More

The Thai staples are spot on at this quiet, neighborhood restaurant in Newton. The service was prompt, the food was nicely done, and the prices were about average. In all my travels, I have never had to pay for rice to accompany a main entree in a Thai restaurant so I thought that was a weird quirk, but other than... More

We just keep going to Amarin for so many years. Delicious appetizers: chicken and beef satay is our favorite, nice and light spring rolls, seaweed salad is good too. Main courses have a nice variety. My personal favorite is Amarin Chicken, lightly marinated and grilled to perfection. Tender beef platter is good too as well as Tamarind duck. The atmosphere... More

Went to this restaurant with couple of friends. Food and service were good. Cant say anything bad. At the end I gave 15% of tips. Waiter checked the bill with his manager and then asked me if there was something wrong with the service. He explained then that usually people in their restaurant leave at least 20% tips. I proposed... More
