I have been coming to this place for years, now I live in the neighborhood, I have never written a review, I dont think they need it and I dont want to share but it would not be fare. I have had the opportunity to dine in many world renowned places, but Tartuffo is home is very good and service... More

Tartufo has a nice menu, good service and we enjoyed our meal. We had a reservation and the table wasn't ready when we arrived, but they were very nice about it.

Tartufo has been around for a while and although it does not impress you with ingenuity, it certainly delivers well cooked Italian fare. Risotto with porcini - my favorite dish, establishment is very accommodating and will make it for you even if it is not on current menu. Service is attentive and efficient.

Spent a pleasant evening with friends having dinner at Tartufo recently. The special Haddock was well cooked with a lemony sauce. It was a bit bland and could have used more sauce, but the saffron risotto accompanying it complemented the dish. The Vongole e Gamberi Guazzetto was a light pasta dish that was flavorful and satisfying. The Lobster ravioli had... More

A friend and I stopped in for dinner for our first visit and we're warmly greeted. The menu was varied and there were a few appealing specials, one of which I had. It was delicious. Our server was attentive but not intrusive and we enjoyed our meal. We will return.

Tried to go here. Lacked handicapped access for one party member. Couple steps in front were ok but the first floor was rented out to a party and the second floor, where regular goers were to be seated, isn't accessible except by stairs. So we never got in the door. We had not known we needed to note handicapped access... More

Tartufo is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. Reliably very good service and delicious food. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good wine selection.

Tartufo used to be one of our favorite Italian restaurants. My wife and I did not have a good experience last night. We ordered minestrone soup, lamb sausages, duck and sea bass. Lamb sausages and duck were just OK, service was only average. Minestrone soup was insipid. The waiter did offer the specials, duck and sea bass, we went along... More

We had eaten here many times in the past since food was always good ( also had my husbands surprise 65 th Bday here) but then it seemed to go downhill for a few years ( abrupt, rude, service, our server "announced to table that my credit card was not working vs privately to me (which was not correct). But recently we decided... More

Phenomenal Italian food without the hassles of North End traffic and parking shortages. Our party of 6 was seated swiftly. Homemade pasta dishes were great: ravioli, lobster with spicy red sauce, Bolognese and a killer special with lobster, shrimp and stuffed baby calamari. One had the tenderloin, and reported two thumbs up. Server Chris was friendly, professional and knowledgable. We... More
