Best chicken in town

We ate here twice during our stay in Newton. We kinda discovered the place by accident, it did not look like a restaurant at first sight. But this restaurant probably has the best price- quality ratio for 50 miles. The food is just great , yhe sides, salads are really fresh and my favorite: the... read more

Although the whole menu is good, the Sunday brunch is the best. Staff is always very attentive and nice. I would definitely recommend this location for a family party.

First time here and we loved it. The outdoor seating was awesome, and the menu was quite extensive. We loved the lobster nachos, lobster sandwich, and salads. Everything we had was great.

The best part of the experience was mentioning that I was gluten-free and gluten-free bread was brought over. Very unusual!

hate this place, so loud, no good acoustics, all upscale well dressed women, food is ok but what an atmosphere! Do men eat here?

Went for brunch Sunday around1:15. No one greeted me, sat in bar music so loud, bartender could not hear my order. Moved down to be out from underneath speaker, really did not help. Bartender very nice and attentive. Ordered bloodie Mary- horrible. More like a spritzer drink, sent it back. Ordered Egg Bennie, literally out in about two minutes!,,,, think... More

We went as a large group for dinner. The servers were friendly but it took over two hours to get to our entrees with each person being served at a different time over a half hour and the food was just lukewarm. It didn't seem that anyone was managing or even cared that we were being served so badly.

Sorry for the delay in response. To say we are embarrassed would be an understatement. First and foremost we apologize for ruining your dining experience. It sounds like you had an absolutely horrible experience with us. Your experience isn't a typical one for our restaurant, but we are mortified you had to endure what seems to be a failure on... I liked the Cottage in Chestnut Hill. Have been to the ones in Wayland and Wellesley. The decor is a little hoaky, like eating in a furniture store, but the wait staff are conscientious, the menu has something for everyone and the preparation is rosk solid. We gobbled up the Sesame Ahi Tuna Nachos, Maine Lobster Cobb and Fish +... More

A group had dinner before a Red Six game this week. We were looking for something easy and casual. The Cottage fit both requirements. The menu has the variety of items to please most needs. However, the restaurant just lacked any compelling reason to go back other than as a convenient place along the roadside. That's not a bad observation... More

Do not try it. Manager is rude and impolite. Waiter forget the orders and the food come cold and not what you ordered. Don't waist your time and go to this Resturant.
