Great Bagels, good choices, and a solid variety. I read everyone's reviews and think they are mostly in point. It is a bagel shop, they serve other things if you need them, but they are a bagel shop first and I think their bagels are great. Coffee may not be great, ambience is what it is and the rest of... Made on the premises, a great go to place early in the morning for fresh bagels and a cup of coffee. Off the main street, open at 6:00 AM. Great for early risers.

Abe's is always must when we visit Newburyport or Plum Island. It's a great low key spot with delicious and fresh bagels, sandwiches, and pizza. Absolutely love their everything bagel with chive cream cheese. There quaint outside patio is perfect way to have a simple yet delectable breakfast. It always makes me relax and enjoy those around me. During the... More

We picked up a dozen bagels from Abraham's to enjoy at breakfast while staying with friends on Plum Island, MA. Just like old Jewish water bagels we used to get when living in New Jersey.

If you are driving anywhere near Newburyport, you need to stop here. The town is adorable and this bagel was fantastic. I am a huge fan of good bagels and don't get them nearly enough in the South, so perhaps this influenced me. I'll put it this way... I want to go back to this area and this restaurant is... More

Plenty of staff making the meals. Fast paced and efficient. Quality food. A little grungy in the seating areas, especially the outdoor seating, as garbage bins close by stink and kitchen fans and doors making noise. Always packed, always a line out the door on weekends. Coffee is awful, go across the street to Starbucks like most people and enjoy... More

Fabulous fresh bagels made the old way (by boiling and then baking), available to go or with tons of toppings for eating in the garden with coffee or special teas. There is a pretty terrace garden with 6 or 7 tables but not nearly enough space to accommodate the line of devotees that spills out the door. We would have... More

Amazing in every way! The bagels are phenomenal, pizza is sublime. A great spot for breakfast or lunch. Can't recommend enough.

Title says it all. I haven't found a place that comes close to their quality. Bagels are ending made as you order and the little wire baskets constantly being emptied and refreshed by a steady stream of customers. You can't leave with fewer than a dozen!

Yea ... this is where you are stopping for breakfast. The bagels are made on site, the line is out the door but it does not take very long and it is as good as it gets. They serve coffee and if you are a starbucks addict you can find the buck-o-star across the street. J
