Don't expect atmosphere but do expect good home style food at a reasonable price. The Park Lunch offers a nice varied selection of choices on their menu. Everything from a chicken sandwich to fried seafood. Don't be afraid to try the traditional Italian fare as well. Everything is served the old fashioned way. thecpirtikns are ample and filling. The prices... More

Went here for dinner and it was surprisingly full. Food was delicious and can out pretty fast. Service was ok though I think it was because it was busy.

Constant Companion and I stopped by Park Lunch on a recent Saturday afternoon. We took the last parking spot, which is always a good omen. Patrons were lined up out the door for booths/tables but there were a few seats available in the bar where we sat. As soon as we took our seats conversations with the locals ensued. Seems... More

There's really not much more to say. Park Lunch is a local sports bar in the historical seaside town of Newburyport, MA. I've been all over New England, and every year I come back for the fried clams. I've never found anything better than theirs. This definitely a bar, not for kids, and tough for large parties. But you can... More

Although the menu is quite extensive, we prefer to stick with the fried clams. They are excellent ! The pizza, burgers, and salads are just average pub food fare...but the fried clams are THE BEST !!!

It's a small knotty pine paneled restaurant/bar whose walls are covered with college banners from all over the US. It's not fancy, or upscale. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food was very tasty and plentiful. If you're looking for good food, especially seafood, where the locals go to eat, this is the place. It's pretty popular. I would... More

For as long as I can remember this has been the go to spot for friend clams. I don't think I've EVER got something different. It's always busy, for good reason.

We went to Newburyport last week and decided to go to the Park Lunch as we have not been there for awhile. We live an hour away & the food is well worth the ride. We met the family there. We went a little before supper time and glad we did as we needed a large table and they were... More

We eat here as a party of nine.Starting with chicken dippers and various other delights. The fried scallops were beautifully done and were plentiful,a good pizza was also served up.Fries are also excellent. This is the type of place where you wont have any room left for dessert.Waitress was excellent and friendly.Pity the place is so small.Somebody should also do a course...
