The BEST fried clams!

I've been searching for THE BEST fried clams for years, and I think that I may have found them! The clams here are moist yet have a crispy coating, and the flavor is intense . So fresh! Truthfully, I only ate the clams, because the servings are so large, and the beer was frosty and there was a... read more

"Steak Fries" are not thick like years past and should be call "Fries". Scallops are cut into quarter -pieces to make the plate look full. "Crab Meat " is Pollack/crab and way over priced for what it is. The Park Lunch USED TO BE a great value for lots of good food. It has gone down hill. You can tell... More

If it's fresh seafood you are seeking, then Park Lunch is the local gathering for such fried delicacies. Daily specials are affordable and hit the spot each time. Waitstaff is occasionally hit or miss, so we sit at the bar whenever possible to experience better service. Haven't been disappointed by the food ever! Eat in or take out is offered.... More

This is where the people who live in this town of 10 cent millionaires live, eat. This was a well kept secret. Best fried seafood in Newburyport....end of story. Actually its all good food. Great family place, good value. A pretty diverse menu. So keep it low....

If your looking to impress a first date, this is not the place to go. If you want to rub elbows with the Newburyport locals and have a great inexpensive meal, then you found the right place. Pak Lunch is the best locals restaurant in town with PBR on draft and the best fried clams between here and Ipswitch/Essex. Great... More

Husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch last weekend. Really nice place to go and the food and service is always great. They could use a bigger bowl for their salads though. But we will be back!

A local favorite, filled with sports photos and banners from the glory days of dear old NHS. Also many college banners. The food and drink are priced right and very good. Almost always very busy from late afternoon on. Well worth the wait for a table. Although sometimes you can find room in the bar section when there's a wait... More

Don't expect atmosphere but do expect good home style food at a reasonable price. The Park Lunch offers a nice varied selection of choices on their menu. Everything from a chicken sandwich to fried seafood. Don't be afraid to try the traditional Italian fare as well. Everything is served the old fashioned way. thecpirtikns are ample and filling. The prices... More

Went here for dinner and it was surprisingly full. Food was delicious and can out pretty fast. Service was ok though I think it was because it was busy.

Constant Companion and I stopped by Park Lunch on a recent Saturday afternoon. We took the last parking spot, which is always a good omen. Patrons were lined up out the door for booths/tables but there were a few seats available in the bar where we sat. As soon as we took our seats conversations with the locals ensued. Seems... More
