Getting it right with good service and food

This well equipped spot offers good service, great spirits, and great food. Even after a calamari appetizer was a bit over cooked, the staff quickly fixed the problem and we moved on to a wonderful meal of salmon, and their seafood risotto special. Hats off to the chef who created the risotto... read more

I'm a town resident for 20 yrs. I would love to like this place due to its location. But I just can't. It's like a siren song. It has the look of a Newbury St., Boston restaurant-complete with wide open windows and a pretty Decour. But it's all a facade! Greats lace for beers and MAYBE an appetizer. But the... More

Blue on Highland offers a terrific, upscale dining experience in the heart of Needham Heights, within walking distance of the commuter rail station. As passengers from the Boston train had just disembarked one weekday evening, the lively bar filled up quickly. The dining room is large with large modern artwork on the walls; fortunately, tasteful restraint of the color blue... More

Blue on highland has come into its prime. In the past year the menu has evolved into a wide array of pastas, chicken, fresh seafood, and creative chef inspired dishes. The atmoshpere and decor is eclectic and lively. You gotta check this place out. Ask for Scott he is the GM and will definetly make your experience a great one.... More

Great atmosphere for drinks after work or an evening out for dinner. In the summer months the floor to ceiling windows open to create an outdoor atmosphere. Excellent drinks at the bar.

My duck salad was awesome. My husband and friends said their choices Of sandwiches with fries was fine. I felt my drink for $11.00 was watered down. Our waiter was the highlight of the visit . He was friendly, funny, and helpful.

A great place to meet for either a casual or business lunch. The food is consistently good. The daily risotto is a highlight but I always order the mussels and have never been disappointed. Additionally the evening crowd is upscale and lively. Only question; why do they open the windows on a busy street in the summer? If you enjoy... More

The food here is nothing special. The menu never changes. Nice space and fine service but the food is not a high point.
