What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.

Not your average Joe's, to be fair, provides food somewhat tasty and somewhat fit the price. The seasoning is certainly there, but satisfaction just doesn't go above average. With the price, I'd expect they not only give bread generously but also salad. Unless avoiding all the sandwich, pasta, pizza items, customers are fed a lot of starch. My husband ordered... More

I ordered my food ahead of my visit. I showed up, went to the bar and picked up my food. This was a very smooth experience and my foods was freshly cooked. The foods was great and I always enjoy the bread and do that comes with the food. I definitely am looking forward to my next visit.

Went on Sunday at 5pm, food was good but similar to most chain menus. The gluten free complimentary bread was great, something I haven't seen since going GF. It was busy and our waitress seemed to be rushing us. As soon as we sat down she asked if we were ready to order, she then stood in the corner near... More

We went with our family including young grandchildren. It was crowded but they were efficient about seating us and the service was very good and attentive. Relatively diverse menu and everything we had from fish to burgers and chicken enchiladas were good. A little noisy and crowded but nice place for a family dinner.

We went Friday night with our kids. We got their early and they told us the wait would be twenty minutes but it turned out to be forty. Once we sat down the service was slow and the food was average. We have been many times in the past and the food is usually quite good so this may have... More

Good good, casual environment that is family friendly. Gets a bit crowded at dinner time so plan ahead. There is a bar area as well and plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant.

The menu is nicely varied with new dishes appearing regularly. Wait staff are very pleasant and accommodating but service can be a little slow. It can be fun to sit at the counter in the back and watch the food prep in the open kitchen. Overall a very good place. Sign up for their free meal on your birthday!!

My family and I have been dining at NYAJ in Needham for at least 15 years, or whenever they opened. What we like about it: the yummy foccaccia bread always makes a great beginning to the meal. Families with young children feel welcomed, as well as couples and friend get togethers. They have some tried and true menu items, as... More

Good food, always filled .You know that the food must be fresh because of the volume of diners. If you do not have a reservation there will be a wait on the weekends.A very good menu that changes with specials of the month.Friendly wait staff .I recommend this restaurant.
