Great seafood. Great prices. Flexible kitchen.

In town from NH and CT for some shopping. Chose the Dolphin based on other online reviews. Very nice atmosphere. Between my wife, 2 daughters, a son-in-law and my self, we had everything from the fried seafood platter, to the broiler seafood platter, fish and chips, broiled salmon, and baked... read more

Between my wife, 2 daughters, a son-in-law and my self, we had everything from the fried seafood platter, to the broiler seafood platter, fish and chips, broiled salmon, and baked haddock. First time at this restaurant. Staff was pleasant but the service was not very attentive. Had to ask the waiter about specials long after he showed up for our drink order. Prices are not crazy here, so that was a plus. Oysters Rock were very good as was the swordfish special. Baked potato was not cooked, but the waiter pleasantly... More

I enjoy stopping here after work on Friday's in the bar area to have oysters before heading home and making dinner!

I frequented the Dolphin in Cambridge so was pleased to discover one in Natick when I moved. While it has differences, it is similar in being a consistently friendly, welcoming homey place with reliably decent food at reasonable prices. The lobster dinners are very good and beat the prices at Legal on Route 9. Most preparations are pretty straight forward... More

It's been around for years and the fish is quite good. The staff are nice and generally service is good. The plainer meals are best. The stir fry and pasta dishes are not recommended. The small bar is fine and seems to be popular. However, the overall ambiance is kind of strange - the building has been chopped up into... More

Went in on a Saturday afternoon. This place was dead but that wasn't the problem, it smelt really fishy and the decor was very outdated. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was very non attentive. I ordered a mixed drink and it was very sugary and little alcohol. After waiting for a longtime to get the attention... More

Over the years we have eaten at Legal, Fish, and other seafood restaurants in the area -- but have always found Dolphin to deliver the best. Dolphin serves it plain - or nearly plain so you can enjoy the taste of the fish -- unlike others that want to want do cover it with all sorts of sauces to hide... More

The Dolphin is not what it used to be. My wife and I went to dinner on a Tuesday eve and before 6:30 the restaurant, which was not crowded or busy, ran out of their signature lobsters. Both our cocktails had to be returned as they were made incorrectly and the second round was incorrect as well. The manager demonstrated... More

Went on a recent Tuesday night with family and my has this placed changed. The interior is classier and has some historic Natick images (thumbs up!!!) I had the fried clams and for $20 it was good and plentiful. Others had the same or Sole Pedro, and a Broiled Seafood Platter. We had two with food allergies and I must... More

In Natick for a concert at TCAN. Dinner before the gig at Dolphin,s. Food well presented and tasty. Warm bread was a nice touch. Price / quantity ratio as expected for a $$$ rating. Atmosphere with mixed ages of patrons was interesting to observe. We had a corner table near the bar yet could hear our conversation Did not need... More
