First, this is a buffet restaurant. Second, think of eating all you want sushi, dozens of other Asian dishes, like seaweed salad, shrimp and pork Shumai, fried rice, miso soup, peel & eat shrimp, and most anything you can think of. If you don't see a maki roll you want, just ask a chef behind the counter, and he'll make... More

My sister in law took me here while visiting Boston. So many food choices. Hard to believe. Never seen this many items at a buffet. The largest selection of sushi as well. Very good cold salad and hot food choices. I saw a fisherman catch a skate in August while visiting the North Shore Chesapeake area. To my surprise this... More

The different varieties of my favorite sushi and appetizers are absolutely amazing. Sushi is pre-made to serve or order from the chiefs. The flavorful deep fried fish and BBQ fish or sweet & sour. Seafood is incredibly fresh and mouthwatering crab legs and oysters. There are so much to say about this place but it's a five stars plus Japanese... More

I have never had sushi that bad in my life. Buffet style so you pay 32.95 per person for unlimited food if you can find to eat something. It is crowded and most people come for oysters or crabs.

This is a Japanese buffet with the emphasis on seafood. There are some non-seafood meat dishes (and quite good, too) such as beef tataki, beef teriyaki, short ribs. There is a wide variety of sushi, sashimi, and maki available. They are being made constantly. However, if you wish to concentrate on the raw fish, I suggest you arrive early in... More

Minado does NOT taste like Japanese food!! It tasted like soap. Everything was so oily and tasted bad. As a real Japanese person this is almost embarrassing that lots if American people are thinking Japanese food taste like this!! So wrong!! Never going back!! Not worth your money.

One of the best and most unusual (Japanese sushu & seafood) lunch buffets I have partaken. Amazing variety - noodles, salads, fish, vegetables, deserts. Plenty of choices for even those on restrictive diets. Nice open/ spacious ambiance and charming decor. Attentive servers. Hard not to overeat! Convenient suburban location.

We are planed to go to the Minado restaurant and give it a try for my wife birthday. Called previous day to make sure of the working hours and making reservation if necessary, because of the Labor Day. It was explained to me from employee that restaurant is going to work us a Sunday schedule and prices on Labor Day.... More

Minado is our favorite restaurant. This Japanese buffet has hot food, salads and sushi/sashimi lines that are extraordinary. The food always fresh and the cuisine is creative and unique. We especially enjoy Fridays which are "seafood nights" with extra treats on the hot food line such as head-on shrimp on skewers, crab legs, baked fish, and (in season) crabs, mussels,... More

This was a recommendation, so after my husband and I picked up relatives from Logan Airport, we decided to give it a try. I found the food and choices to be exceptional even for the non sushi lovers like my husband. He found plenty to eat and loved the veggie tempura. Everything was fresh and did not taste like it...
