Exceeded My Expectations

Based on a lot of the reviews I didn't expect this to be a great meal but I was pleasantly surprised. This was a day set aside for my 8-year old niece....shopping, lunch and an appointment with the doll hairdresser. I had a nice time but my niece rates this experience as a 10. About the... read more

Took my daughter here, we had never been and knew it was going to be pricey, but we wanted a girly day :) the entree portions were generous sizes, and everything we ate was surprising great! The waitress addressed my daughter by name and it really made her feel special. We didn't have dessert there, we went shopping and got... More

The AG PR for the Bistro says to come in for a "casual bite" to eat. I read enough of the other reviews to expect small portions, and an underwhelming experience where the Dolls have top billing! WOW! I am not sure why people think the portions are small. One of our party of four had the salmon over orzo,... More

I would have given this 3 (average) over 2 (poor) if it weren't for the price. My 7 year old & I went while spending some time at the store. It was an early Friday so not too crowded. It's $16.50 per person, and only have a kids menu for under age 4. She got the tic, tac, toe pizza which was... More

If you and your little girl can get past the $100+ dolls and $50+ accessories for the three centuries worth of doll clothing, doll furniture, doll pets, doll sports equipment, books and toys, then you're in for a treat at the Bistro. Weekends are crazy busy but weekdays are manageable. I went for lunch with my 6 year old grand... More

Our family of 4 visited for lunch today. We drove from Buffalo, NY on the way to the Cape. My 9- year old daughter had been looking forward to going to the store and we made lunch reservations. We were seated within 10 minutes of checking in. Our server was friendly enough. There is no kids' menu per we, just... More

Cute place and experience for little girls. The food was very good, though slightly over priced and our server Nancy was wonderful. The manager came over and was extremely pleasant. they were accommodating on allowing us to change the time of the dolls' hair appointments because lunch went quicker than the lady at the reservation desk had indicated. The concept... More

Made reservations online and we were seated as scheduled. The tables were decorated adorably and the dolls got their own high chairs. After looking at the menu and talking to the waiter we opted to go with the birthday package ($107.00) for 2 adults, 2 kids. Everyone got to select a beverage, appetizer and entree. The kids loved the pretzel... More

This review is from the point of view of an eleven-year-old girl, me! I went to the American Girl Store this February for lunch and shopping with my cousin. My favorite thing there is the doll hair salon, where you can pierce your doll's ears, get her hair styled, or give her a spa treatment. The bistro is really fun... More
