The food is hit or miss and Sunday was a definite miss. Fish wasn't fresh (Red Sox maki), maki rolls were sloppy (Philadelphia maki and Tiger Eye) and didn't taste right. As a result we wasted $45.

This place is not much to look at from the outside but is quaint on the inside and the food, especially the sushi is awesome. Go just for the sushi though. The entre' was good but the sushi...mmmmm.

Outstanding sushi, very fresh and nice variety with special rolls added frequently. Has regular tables and also about four sunken tables that popular. Quiet ambience. Nice appetizer selection. My favorite is Chirashi, which is a selection Sashimi over a bed of Sushi rice.

The Wanokura Restaurant is lovely within and serves splendid food. The pleasure of dining there equaled the loveliness of the Wanakura's website. My sister had sashimi with salmon belly and was well satisfied for a modest price. I had the vegetable tempura dinner. The server kindly accommodated our request to have salad substituted for my Miso soup so we could... More

Wanokura has some of the best sushi I've eaten and the best in New England. Their fish is incredibly fresh and the sushi chefs are very talented in making unique mako from fresh, local ingredients.

I am a big fan of sushi, and sashimi. The Wanokura serves some of the best to be found anywhere. I am a regular, and sit at the sushi bar, or a table when I am with a few people. I understand that it can be slow, but these guys really put their heart and souls into creating their dishes... More

Fresh and always consistent, which is key. Not extremely creative but we stick with our favorites. If you don't want to drive into Boston, this is the best sushi within Metrowest. Not a chineses restaurant with a "sushi bar" but and authentic Japanase restaurant.

We have been all over the world and yet the best sushi we have found is less than one mile from our home. THe owners are ever present, huge take out business, great dining in house. They even recommended that we limit our initial order until we determined if we would really like more. Attentive service - great food -... More

I have eaten here many times. MOST of the time the service is slow to non-existent although on occasion it can be good. One thing most people really like is the traditional tables are they the kotasu tables? I am not sure what they are called I am sure someone can tell/correct me but the type where you take your...
