Good locally owned Mexican restaurant

Local owner on site and greets most customers. Not a chain Mexican place. Very good Margarita's in a real Margarita glass. We have dined here several times in the past and service is always friendly and attentive. Chile is very good. Get a seat in the rear of the restaurant, much nicer and... read more

We love the Alamo in Milford, Massachusetts...not a chain, but a family run authentic Mexican restaurant and it has been in business for years. It is located on Route 109 and is in a converted Victorian style house. What a nice job they have done, with a large first floor in several sections and a lounge and dining area upstairs.... More

Friendly service with poor Tex-Mex food. The taco meat is greasy. The sauces and fajitas come back to haunt you in about three hours. And the Margaritas need work. In spite of the pleasant owner there is nothing that makes you want to come back. Try the other Mexican restaurant in Milford for a good meal.

Came here with family. Wish we had kept driving. Service was terrible. Milk tasted like fish. Food was not fresh and authentic.

Service was just o.k. Waitress was o.k. We sat outside...and as others stated tables were dirty and sticky. Waitress brought our drinks and then proceeded to dump the tray water right there on the ground...needless to say it splashed all over our feet??? I do have to say the food is really good. It is worth the visit for a... More

I went here for dinner and it was a good little Mexican place. They had some issues with a pipe being frozen. The running water was not working. The food I ordered was really good and it came out fast. Thankfully they had bottled water. The owner came out and apologized for it. I knew it was nothing he could... More

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. I've been there several times over the past few years and it's always a great experience. Every dish is delicious, fresh, and authentic. I was there last night with a group of 12 and everyone loved their meals. Try the Chicken Merlos, a chef specialty. Delicious!

Any time I have been to the Alamo I have never been disappointed. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. Starting with the chips and salsa, their meals are delicious and their portions are very generous. Not to mention, their signature house margaritas are fabulous!

Shared a good meal with many friends at this restaurant and all were very happy with meal. Service was on time, food was hot and savory. Inexpensive for the amount of food. Recommend it for any and all.
