Nice small eatery

Very good food. Generous portions. The owner, John, takes a lot of pride in his establishment and it shows. Definitely goes out of his way to make sure your experience is a good one. Small place but great taste. Favorite is the Supreme Buffalo Chix quesadilla.

A good friend and I decided to try a new restaurant. Based on the number of good reviews, we decided to go to The Cabin, Rte. 28 in Middleboro. Neither of us had ever been before. Arrived around 5:30 and were seated right away. Waitress was friendly and prompt with drinks. I had the gorgonzola steak tips cooked medium rare.... More

The food is Basic Pub Faire, but way overpriced. Other restaurants are charging $10 bucks for fish & Chips, and these folks think theirs is worth $12.99. No way. The portions are no bigger, or better. Get real.

My husband needs to have gluten free food. I was told about The Cabin by another person with a gluten allergy. She raved about the food and the extensive gluten free menu. We decided to check it out. My husband is a very picky eater and very rarely finishes a dinner. I'm surprised he didn't lick his plate! He had... More

My family visited The Cabin on a Sunday evening for dinner. The hostess was very friendly and seated us promptly in the clean and comfortable dining room. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She offered some great recommendations on some of her favorite dishes. We ordered some potato slabs as an appetizer - very large potatoes and tasty! I... More

Went for a late lunch with a friend and found myself pleasantly surprised by the wonderful salmon salad and prompt and helpful waitstaff. It isn't fancy but it it homey, clean and the food was great. I will be going back.

A very extensive menu, including robust gluten free selections and excellent customer service. My wife is on a gluten free diet and it's always difficult to find a restaurant that provides good menu choices, The Cabin has an extensive gluten free menu including separate fryers for fried seafood. My wife ordered a combination plate of fried whole belly clams, calamari... More

My girlfriend and I found this place literally as we were driving up the road and were hungry. It was a Friday night so we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table. To be honest, any place without a little bit of a wait on a Friday night should make you think twice. We are both huge fans... More
