Started enjoying the yummy cheeseburger specials and handmade chocolate shakes back in 1965 and they haven't changed a bit. Moved away 30 years ago but never miss the chance to visit every time I get back in the area...really a favorite

We've been going to skips for years. It's a place where families go for generations and great for all ages. There are tables inside and out. If you sit outside there's a huge field for kids to run around in. They're famous for their cheeseburger specials with curly fries. They also have a lot of other things to choose from.... More

Been going to Skip's for over 30 years and will keep going there as long as I am able. Cannot go a summer without the taste of that cheeseburger special!

Good fast service. The fresh cut fries are fun and taste like a potato. We had 2 regular burgers, one no mayo, nice size, looked good with lettuce n tomato and tasted great. Worth the stop!

Fun to see the old cars, Hamburgers are 50 cent piece size, dry, boring flavored. The Curly fries are just ok. would go back to see cars not get food

Car shows are fantastic. Wish they were open year round. Burgers and curly fries are my favorite-so good! A real old fashioned drive-in. You order at front counter and pick up at window. Inside seating and restrooms with picnic tables outside. They also serve ice cream and I have heard the frappes are great. Large field in back which is... More

As a European I love to go to places that have a great Americana vibe and this place is never disappointing. Good food and great cruise nights in the summer... Although I do bring my European car that gets lost in a sea of American Muscle cars!

Have been to Skip's a few times as I live nearby. Burgers are good, not great. Haleys in Newburyport are MUCH better! Curly cue fries are soggy... could be really great if they just let 'em get crispier. Stopped in one night at 8:45 to find the front door locked. Went in through the side where some folks were exiting... More
